I have played RIFT in the past and one thing I really liked about it is when you use a 24 hour potion for xp or any boost for that matter it only runs out while your in game. My suggestion is when we pay money to buy bits to buy boosts in game it should be the same way cause who really plays 24hours straight maybe 2% of players. I get to use my boosts that I buy for maybe 6 hours out of 24. So please try to make this change to where your boost timer will not run out while your not playing. In my opinion this is a great idea and people might buy more boosts I know I would. Thank you for reading

+1 This would also deal with the boosts running during downtime issue as well. Hell even if they cut it to 12 hrs of playtime per boost it would still be 100000000x better then the way it is now.

I think it is to deter people from paying their way to the top.
Opposed to doing the missions. Every other game I have seen
BOOST'ers available to purchase, the time period in which it was
active was how you described about RIFT. IMO, I think since
shooter gamers are a different breed of animal.. they had
high anticipation for those sales.. and they were right.
I used up a few bits I had laying in the wallet on them. I came
to this (your epiphany) realization. If people keep buying them
(As they will), then everything is fine. Sales numbers and cash talk
Louder then the forums. I will buy bits to buy things from the store.
Just not boosts.

Well think of it this way. If you buy a boost over the weekend and you played only 4 or 5hrs then you went to bed. when you wake back up to play its still there.
