As soon as launch hits, that is 12:01AM EDT, my timezone. I will be playing from 12:01AM assuming servers don't crash, until I can't stay awake anymore which will probably be Wednesday or Thursday.

If the servers don't crash or have any other latency issues it will go down as one of the best mmo launches in history.

Most MMO launchers are shaky at best.

I'll get an early start, try to play for a couple of hours, servers allowing, then off to work, and back on later when hopefully any early issues have been sorted.

I won't be able to pick up the game until 10AM local time, but I plan to play most of the evening/night.

If servers aren't going up and down, I plan on going at least 48.

I need my Defiance fix!

As I see it you have 2 options:

1 - start cleaning the place now
2 - pretend you're not in and don't answer the phone or open the door

your choice :)

I have nothing else planned tbh. I have to get early and wait for it to arrive anyway. If it fails to arrive tomorrow I will be very upset.

I'm a graphic artist with my own work schedule. I got in some extra work over the weekend that set me up, so I got just about the whole week to kill with this game. I grabbed a nice big bag of herbalized bliss just for tomorrow!!!

Can you guess what it might be?

Getting it at midnight tonight and playing for a few hours, or probably just do what I planned on doing which is creating my character and getting the name I want. Then going to bed because I have a chemistry lab tomorrow at 11:00 AM. After that, playing the rest of the day. I have no class on Thursdays so I'll be on ALL night Wednesday-Thursday.

Once the servers are up, I'll make the character, finish the tutorial, getting the pre-order bonuses and going to bed, (~30 mins max) so I can play it more a few hours after I wake up.

I see two other options,

1. You play the game so much, she thinks the game sucks and leaves you.
2. You play the game so much, she thinks the game rocks and complains that she wants you play, and you kick her out.

Both options, in the end, you can play without distractions.

I have my single serve coffee pot right next to my desk. Quick break to pour a bottle of water in, press a button, three minutes later I have a large tumbler of espresso. As long as my heart don't explode, I'm good to go.

You guys are crazy, last time I stayed up for 48 hours straight I pretty much wanted to die...its miserable.

The 24 - 48 hour staying awake is not fun. Takes me back to staying up for the Army and that wasnt by choice. I like sleep too much but I will be playing this for awhile haha.

I won't be staying up, since it is launching on a dang business day. Of all days, had to be Tuesday, why can't they release it on a weekend? Makes it hard for everyone to fit that into a work schedule.
