So I pre-ordered from Amazon.com and the expected delivery date is 5 April. While missing 3 days from launch isn't the end of the world, I wouldn't mind being able to play at launch. Any way to accomplish that via digital download off xbox live or do I just have to wait it out?

...or I could just check my email and see that they've changed the arrival date to April 2nd....

I ordered with release day delivery on Amazon a long while back. It shipped Sunday from Amazon and the order status page says "estimated delivery April 2" but the UPS tracker says April 3. I think Easter screwed everything up somehow. Thanks alot, Jesus.

I talked to Jesus about this... he said it was "Heffey's" fault...

I ordered the Deluxe 360 version from Amazon back in February, and it's still showing me an April 3 date. :/

Now UPS tracker says this:

Tuesday, 04/02/2013, By End of Day
Originally Scheduled For Delivery On:
Wednesday, 04/03/2013, By End of Day

Woohoo!

I use two options on ordering games. I check Amazon first mainly because they do not charge tax but the do charge shipping unless you are in their premiere customer thing. I ordered my Defiance from them this time around because Walmart wanted 2 day shipping charges plus tax......Read on though. Sometimes Walmart is the better choice.

My second choice is Walmart. Many times in the past Wally World has had specials of 0.98cent shipping and it is guaranteed to be there on launch day. If the 98cent shipping is not attached to the item you will pay the two day shipping + any taxes which usually costs more than ordering from Amazon. One special part of the 98cent deal is that every time I used it I got the game the day before the release date. Most of my friends are throwing so many messages at me I can barely play the game. Soooo, next time you go to order a game check out Wally World and see what they've got going on.
