View Full Version : Rocket launcher and detonator synergies

Lets brainstorm some. The game doesn't really offer anything that helps with rocket launchers or detonators imo.

I think we can have like a few mayhem synergies stuff that increases blast radius, damage, full damage radius, minimum damage, damage increases on chain or multi kills and stuff like that.

So for example a rocket launcher synergy might look like this.

Destruction:
1)-Increased velocity of projectile 10%
2)-Increased velocity of projectile 20%
3)-5% increased damage on next shot after chain or multi kill
4)-10% increased damage on next shot after chain or multi kill.

Please post your own ideas!

Synergy- Overpowered:

1)-DMG increased my 50%
2)-DMG increased by 100%
3)-Increased drop chance for orange weapons by 50%
4)-Increased drop chance for orange weapons by 100%

I wonder if the stalker/range bonus might actually apply to the full damage radius of rocket launchers and detonators too since the principle is the same. Maybe the stalker x2 range bonus is equivalent to x1.15 full damage radius.

It doesn't work with BMGs so I doubt it =/

I think it could be different though since there is no falloff damage with a BMG. Range could be also be described as full damage range similar to full damage radius.

Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe range extends the maximum range you can hit/damage a target. Bit hard to tell with these crappy draw distances.

The three first are clearly designed for explosive weapons while the last may also work on non-explosive weaps :


Demolisher :

[1] +5% to Explosives' Min/Max DMG
[2] +10% to Explosives' Min/Max DMG
[3] +5% EGO Power duration on an explosive kill
[4] +10% EGO power duration on an explosive kill



Kamikaze :

[1] +0.20 Full DMG Radius
[2] +0.40 Full DMG Radius
[3] Increase DMG done in an explosion by (self inflicted DMG)+5%
[3] Increase DMG done in an explosion by (self inflicted DMG)+10%



Interceptor :

[1] +5% Projectile Velocity
[2] +10% Projectile Velocity
[3] +5% Speed boost for 5s after an explosive kill
[4] +10% Speed boost for 5s after an explosive kill



Sapper :

[1] -2s to Grenade refresh rate
[2] -4s to Grenade refresh rate
[3] +5% DMG per additional enemy taken in an explosion
[4] +10% DMG per additional enemy taken in an explosion

until they actually make rocket launchers and detonators more than just a novelty, synergys are somewhat pointless.

Yeah, I think all the gossip I heard about BL2's Psycho Pack influenced me on this one :D
(edited a bit the synergy description in order to be more understandable)
