Does the Rolling Thunder synergy really add to mag size? I had an FRC Assault Carbine with 30 mag go up to 47, but was that after the high capacity mag II, or after the high cap mag II + synergy bonus?

47 was after both mag and syn -> 30 rounds x (1,40 mag II + 1,05 syn + 1,10 syn) = 46,5 = 47 rounds.

Not understanding the data.

The syn bonus is the 1.05.

The math works with a 1.5 (# III ) mag, not the #2.

What did I miss?

You got a 30*1.55=46.5=47 rounds.

The bonus's stack on the base value.

Im not good with the math. So when I looked at my green FRC Carbine, I thought it'd have more than 37 shots. In any case, its mastered and I removed the mods to put in a blue Rolling Thunder Carb I got.

I just added the mods and this one tops out at 42 shots. Oh well, I hoped that with the high cap mag II + Rolling Thunder Mag bonuses, it'd be higher than 42, but I suppose it's not that big of a bonus. Guess Rolling sucks.

It's going to be near impossible to get an FRC Carb with 60+ shots no matter the mag bonuses I suppose. I like it for the damage, but want one that crosses into SAW mag size territory. Guess it's going to take some serious mag bonus + mastery stacking before that happens.

At most you'll get, I think, 58 (59?). Stopping you right under 60. Unless ARs can get a mag mastery. Don't recall atm. Rolling Thunder alone w/o the mag mod being a High Cap would get you about 5 extra shots. Tbh, 42 shots in a Carbine ain't too bad. Not my fav ARs but they can output damage when they stay on target.

My triple mag assault carbine has 62 IN the mag. That's with purple high cap & isn't rolling thunder syn so not sure how high it can go.

I believe the most you can get is :
- White mag bonus: x1.05
- Green mag bonus: x1.10
- Blue mag bonus: x1.15
- Orange mag bonus: x1.25
- Legendary tier mag mastery: x1.15
- Rolling thunder: x1.15
- Purple high capacity magazine: x1.60

Total: x2.45. For an assault carbine, that's 74 bullets. For a thunder, that's 294!
