I have enjoyed your game very much, however I am moving on to Xbox1 next month and am wondering if anyone has heard if Defiance is coming out with any content for it. I would buy the game again for Xbox1 if it is made available.
I am not spending $500.00 for an Xbox1 and then spending money on a 360 game.

Hopefully you will upgrade.

I get your point but whats wrong with having a xb1 and playing 360 games,
I have a 360 and 3ds and I still go back to my older systems

plus for me if i were to get a next gen system i would get a xb1
A: because of the controller
B: because you can use a single xbox gold subscriptions on both systems XB1 & 360, meaning i would be able to flip between online games on both systems at no additional cost.

The only issue i could see is not having enough space for both

I know whenever I buy a new console I burn all my old games and shoot the previous system out back next to the shed.

This is why you should upgrade to PC and rip off the bandaid. You see, when you upgrade your PC, your programs carry over and you don't have to get another copy of the same game library and sit and wait for that awesome game to come out again.

The best games out there are made for PC and if they have time, XBox too, and under every single circumstance, the PC versions always have better graphics, and smoother gameplay, even if you get your old XBox controller (USB) and plug it into your computer (which you can do, and it works well).

So, you can keep being the mindless minion that follows the cool crowd, or you can think for yourself for once and make the smart choice to buy yourself a decent PC Gaming Rig -- your choice.

I'll be continuing to play a game I'm enjoying because -- oh! yes! I play on a PC! Consoles, constantly needing upgrading, and making old games defunct? Thanks, no. But really -- have fun!

Maybe its just me, but that looks like a very scaled back xbox controller which I currently use for several PC games.

PC gaming, yeah I used to spend $600 every 6-8 months to keep up with technology. Moving to consoles has saved me roughly $2400 over the last 2.5 years. I think I threw the towel in after getting my first SLI MB which cost me $1200 for two graphics cards.

Don't buy the best stuff you say? Yeah that's not an option.

As far as Xbox1 and 360, just plug your 360 into your Xbox1. I've currently logged in both systems, and playing defiance through Xbox1's TV interface.

Just wondered what's the latency like, i'd heard the through put was ok for rpgs but was bad for shooters and platformers

I had my PS3 through my XB1 but there was too mach lag for me. I'd imagine it'd be fine for rpg though.

As for all the best games being made for PC, GTA5, Last of Us? ;)

That is complete opinion. Only one of my favorite game makers, Bethesda, makes games for both. Halo, Soul Calibur, Dynasty Warriors, Dead or Alive, Final Fantasy.. pretty much all Japanese series in fact, as PC gaming is very minor over there.. are all console exclusives.

O.o why is not buying the best stuff not an option... and then you go and buy an XBOX 360 ?????

Currently i run a GTX 660 Core i5 2500 16gb Ram 4x 1.5 TB Sata HHD none of that is the best stuff but it still craps all over a Xbone and a Ps4 ....

Because I hate not being on a level playing field. The console environment provides a standard set of hardware with the only variables being your internet connection, display and maybe audio if you care about that, which I do.

When I bought the xbox360 is was less than the cost of the SSD drive I had purchased for my PC. The video cards alone were $1400 which would need to be swapped out in 6-8 months.

Your setup is nice, don't get me wrong it's just that when I play a game I want to experience it on a level playing field and in the best possible way given current technology. Spending upwards of 4000 a year to keep up with technological advancements was getting pricey, especially when you like to hit the casinos like I do. :)

There are allot of pros and cons in PC vs Console and at the end of it it's down to opinion.
I have a Laptop, PC, PS3 and Wii (Monster hunter 3)

so I upgraded my console to a new super duper gaming rig PC - now where do I put my 3.5" doom diskette into it?

I personally gave up on pc gaming as I found it more expensive - at the time it seemed every new game needed more ram and more 3d ram - whereas my console powers on and goes

im sure it is different now though

As great as that and other controllers might be, it's just a physical limitation. A mouse and keyboard will always be a better controller for FPS type games. There's just no way to replicate the precision and control you have with a mouse. I can totally understand if you've never used a m/k on an FPS, if you grew up playing those games on a console, you're used to that control and it's easier than a m/k. Still, it's just physics. M/K is just more precise, your left hand has more freedom of movement, making it a more natural process, you have a much higher range of adjustment, not to mention the fact you can get one of a thousand different kinds of mice.
