View Full Version : Zaggers & T5 Reload mods

With a non-QM Zagger (starts at 0.5 reload), does anyone know how low the reload gets with a T5 mod (and no mastery roll yet)? I finally got my first OJ Zagger today and I was wondering if it'd be worth it to use the cores.
I know somewhere someone broke down the ways to get a Zagger to 0.0 reload, but I think it definitely needed QM.

With no QM synergy or mastery reload on it, it will be down to 0.1

believe you get a 10% reduction from level 5, rolls 5+10+15+30=60 and a t5 should be 25%. Fairly certain that would make it a 0.1 reload.

its only 5% from skillz, i hae a friend that had t4 on it and was at 0.2, he put the t5 on thinking it would be 0.1 but it stayed at 0.2 because trion rounds up and the math makes it 0.15 which rounds to 0.2

Is everyone excluding the reload mastery bonus. And once weapons rarities will be able to be upgraded with Ark Forge then Oj Zaggers and their set stats will be a dime a dozen.

its going to be so cool seeing everyone in Defiance in a constant state of shooting Zaggers off with every step they take wherever they go.

Currently own one that is not mastered with a tier 5... sitting at 0.1 before mastery. .. debating on mastering myself or looking for another after the patch myself. Lol

I just never got a Zagger before nor invested in one. Do y'all think putting a T5 would be a waste then? It's a Run'n'Gun Bio so it's not like it's a special Zagger... it's just.. the one I happen to have!

you could also roll your zagger to have 0.85 reload which is the same as qm minus the extra roll.

I think the T5 would be a waste to put on a Zagger. You should try to get a reload XP roll and T4 mod it so its 0 reload.

So ehh, I'm late to the Zagger party but I currently have a EGO 5683 Purple Electric QM Zagger with a tier 3 Reload mod with both reload synergy unlocked and the reload on it is 0.5.

Is this normal? And how do I get it to 0?

Any help would be appreciated.

Wait until you can upgrade the purple zagger to an orange one, whether this be next month or July when free to play comes in,

Upgrade to orange
Have a purple t4 reload speed mag,
Have at least 2 quartermaster mods on it
Set mastery to what ever you wish.

on a purple zagger it has to be qmaster u need the mastery as reload and t4 reload mod and when they do bring out upgrading weapons whos to say the zagger is going to get the extra reload you could get anything

My short barrel shotgun had 3 reload bonuses (green blue orange) and started out at 0.8 reload, a t5 mod (x0.75) brought it down to 0.3, and reload mastery x0.85 made it 0.0 reload, seems every 0.05 reload brings it down by 0.1 given that x0.75 reload reduced reload by 0.5 and x0.85 brought it down by 0.3, btw it's outlaw so no reload synergy bonuses

Its easy to count green 10, blue 15, orange 30, t5 25, mastery 15 and shotgun skill 5

Thats give you 100% reload resoult is 0.0

QM bonuses= 15% (5+10)
I hate to say it but you wasted either a t5 reload or a QM purple zagger because once you upgrade this to an OJ version the t5 reload will break this gun. Meaning if the reload goes negative it causes a reload animation similar to .3 or .4.
I'm not sure if .88 reload is enough to get it to a 0.0 as a legendary. It seems like these things are finicky and just depends on which way it goes. Are you including your 5% from level 20 sawed off?

Yeah my sawed off is at 20, don't know what I'm supposed to do now. I guess the only thing is wait for the update and upgrade it to Legendary and slap a level 3 reload mod on there?

Don't know how other people are getting 0 reload purple zaggers.

Once you increase the rarity to Legendary you need to put a T4 (purple) reload on it.

I'm pretty sure you'd be 5% short. The smartest thing to do here is to replace the T5 reload mod with a t4 and get 2 t4 QM mods. You're making this a lot harder than it should be.

Alright, thanks for the assist. I'll have to find a T4 shotty mod then. By the way, they can be found from Epic mod hoard, yes?

Edit:
One more thing, does the two QM mod have to be T4? Maybe that's my problem because I currently have a T2 QM stock & scope mod.
