Beyond amazing work! Hopefully this will end the subjectiveness of range discussions once and for all, as well as help people make informed decisions about what barrels to choose. Definitely validates my fondness of sustained power muzzles on SMGs!

Beautiful and extremely well done and crafted guide....Will you undertake comparable guides for other aspects of weaponry?

I might. That said, this guide was a really hefty commitment, so it would be a while at least before I would attempt to do another (unless it's something small like the BMG Ranges list which would only take a day or two).

so it looks like my preferred weapons are the right choice.

bio/electric SAWs with another no nano for high output

good SMG for short range high dmg output

and my bio flare gun. ( i think that gun is absurd on scores, it "double dips" the nano bonuses as it does both bio AND fire )

Awesome work here.

What's most needed after this I think is a guide on damage calculation. A lot of people completely fail to understand the nuances of final DPS calculations, especially thinks like diminishing returns on stacking the same bonuses

The guide is amazing, and I am really grateful you posted it on DD. Anyone can create guides on there, and I'm actively working on improving the visibility and experience of doing it.

needs a bump to help it against the rage threads

Very excellent work. However a quick note, you continued to list all falloff barrels as "persistent thruster" in your indexes. But VERY useful data thanks.

Thank you! The indices have been corrected. I was working from a template there and my focus was on the numbers. Great catch! :)

I would think you were crazy if you did not use a template!!

Thanks everyone.

Etaew -- You are very welcome, and thank YOU -- not only for all the hard work you have put in the DD, but to be right there as I was crafting this and programming adjustments to make the process easier. The guide making process really is SO easy on your site, and has a lot of features that I don't think would be possible at all via the forum.

To Firemist and Alexri -- you've both suggested that I do some more, and now that this is winding down, I find I have been standing stationary on the vendor at Shondu's for about a half hour. LOL. I'll probably be ready to tackle another project sooner than later. What would you like to see?

Firemist -- you are interested in further mechanics... anything in particular?
Alexri -- you are interested in damage calculations... can you outline?

Feel free to PM.

PT, great guide. If someone as dense as myself can understand it, anybody can. Many thanks!!
