Here is this thread as an example - although the details will change I think you'll get the idea:

http://forums.defiance.com/showthread.php?169175-Introducing-Silicon-Valley-s-Encrypted-Items/page5

Currently it says there are 50 replies - include OP total of 51 comments there.

But, I can only access page 5 that has "41 to 50 of 51". The last comment in the thread is #47.

Why would that be happening? Are some posts not showing up? I don't have anyone on here blocked.

Sounds like ninja moderation to this old guy.

OH! Do they just remove posts here? I've seen that some places. Still the thread should get renumbered so it makes sense.

i noticed yesterday that each thread displays an additional page that does not exist. it may show 6 pages of replies, but if you click on the sixth page, it takes you to the top of the fifth page, and so on.

Practically every thread I visit has missing posts now. That's a LOT of ninja activity. Maybe they got that lame dirty pix guy pinned down finally?

This is currently what's happening to me right now with a few threads.

Well before yesterday this didn't happen, the post numbers didn't skip. As if the forum isn't confusing enough.

In fact it just happened on this thread, what happened to post #7? Was it the guy with the pix? If so thank you but could you redistribute the post numbers please? Or something?

*EDIT: This thread just got renumbered....

Noticed it a few days ago, but they outright deleted that thread for some reason or other. But yeah, it's been happening for a while. Probably due to deleted threads still getting applied to the paging count, even when they are not being displayed.

Any time he/she shows up just report, ignore. Then rinse, repeat and let the mods do their job. Don't look directly at the troll, it only encourages them.

Did report. The team is not apparently...watching at this time. Surprised they would let their guard down for even a minute.

If you also plant echinacea/coneflower near milkweed you should attract monarchs! Not the Defiance ones...pre-disaster Earth ones.

I saw a monarch today while I was outside mowing the lawn. True story.
