Hopefully, we can get an answer to why the Bay Area reveal was such a *surprise* in the show when compared to the events and scenery presented in the game.

Was hoping for a response from Kevin Murphy on twitter but have yet to get it.

We need one. Heck, we deserve one at this point because cross-over content was a major selling point of this game. Quite frankly, we have gotten ****ed this season.

That is true, the crossover aspect is what drew me to the game like it has so many players. That is one of the reasons the recent nerfs and the "thou shalt play in only this style" reason for them are being met with so much outrage.

People who came in because of the crossover are often roleplayers (formally or informally) who want to play their characters with a certain look and weapon loadout style to go with an often carefully crafted character background. The 'just shut up and use whatever comes to hand, you have to be flexible' attitude Trion has taken lately not only makes the quest to get the gear that is appropriate to the character impossible, it assumes that all players in the pre-nerf era had nothing on their minds but pure tactical advantage and were too lazy to try anything different once they had a set they were comfortable with.

I WAS buying extra loadout slots and inventory space to keep a set of "in character" weapons, a special Warmaster set since that is necessary to kill it, and extra slots for experimenting with everything else. The nerf makes that all unnecessary since keeping degrading weapons in inventory is useless now and character 'signature' weapons are not viable in combat for long and the starter slots are sufficient for rolling random junk through for the few hours that the garbage is still of some use.

While I do not have a big budget for games I was at least buying some stuff, I doubt I will do much more if any spending of realworld money in the post-nerf game and from what I am hearing ingame and on this forum and elsewhere many others feel the same way.
