I be watching for?
What items etc. are in the DLC's that should be coveted?
My progression to date has been via the basic game; but am planning on getting the entire content package filled out soon (waiting for Aftermath to drop. Then...).
I also want to thank Logain and all the contributors to the Simple Warmaster Guide: It's been a big help.
Got my first WM "down" last week. And didn't feel like a complete waste of pixels (Hammered his exposed back with a HP-6 I picked up and modded. Felt good to be doing some solid crits).

You will get new main and side missions, tons of arkforge (about 1k i believe), access to DLC factions and items like 7th legion, volge weapons, thawandaye weapons including charge blades. You will be able to call down your own minor and major arkfalls, gain access to stims, spikes. New arenas and co-op maps and so on...
Overall, you get tons of stuff, and main/side missions will guide you through it, acting as a tutorial. So only thing you need to watch out for is.... Just continuing missions, the rest will come along with it. (Note: you won't have access to it until you have done the corresponding quests, so make sure you do it all and do it in order).
Hope this helps.

When you get 7th Legion try and find a good Nezumi (7th Legion SMG) with good rolls, nano and synergy they can be pretty special. My OJ rad Nezumi cuts through things almost as fast the Jackpot Wildcat.

Aftermath is not part of the paid Dlc, so it does not matter if you get the paid dlcs now or later. For all the information you want on what comes with the paid versions of the DLC, check the following link, and remember all you are actually paying for is the unlock, which should register quite quickly after you pay. Not sure how it works on Pc, but on xbox it was a 1kb dl (all it downloaded was the owner key), then you log out and back into the game, and you should be good. You should see a couple new missions on map, and have some new things in claims. Here's the DLC info link now:

{EDIT} Thought you'd want to know how to activate your paid dlc on pc and I found this quote by Fuzzy, hope it helps.

You need to activate the Pass in your Trion account.
Head over to https://glyph.trionworlds.com/commerce/voucher/redeem-voucher-flow
Copy the code for the season pass on steam and apply it. That should do the trick.
Then restart the game if you were in game while applying the code and everything should work.
If it still says you don't have the DLCs, I'd suggest opening up a ticket.

Alright! Sounds like it will be more than worth it: I'm finding that since the "Lag repair" the game is definitely worth the small investment to expand it to it's full capability.
Thanks for the answers!
