Wow! Awesome job on this. If we can just get everyone to come here and read Miss Teri's guide and watch watch these videos the Warmaster would be a much better experience for everyone.

Yup I really like that guide too, i didnt go into full detail like Miss Teri though. Everyone pretty much knows the gist of what to do already, this was more of me breaking down the attacks and showing how to survive longer. lol to many ppl die in there like more than 6 times... while i only drop once or twice at the most. Thought it'd be helpful.

I just don't understand why everyone has trouble understanding "DON'T SHOOT THE LOCKS!"

I would put the viscera first then the locks then the war master bit. Also for the PC server when shooting the back you should mention the sucker punch perk to help with damage. Other than that very well constructed.

Should it also be mentioned that Crystal pound is only done when WM's health is low, along with his laser blast?

*edit*

Oops, looks like you already may have mentioned it. Good guide nonetheless.

Awesome Guide. I just have to leave a comment.

It is simple, it is understandable and it is visually attractive.;)

Then there are those so impatient they use spikes on the locks.

This one was so doomed right from the start I rolled my infector and BMG FTW!

When shield is removed and WM is hanging I switch out to a Syphon Tachmag Pulser, keeps me alive even if I get hit with each energy ball. Then switch back to Rad Wolfy on the run around.

Three words: Blackened Hellfire Weapons. If you can get one they're perfect for the WM. crit mult + lifesteal

Is there a reason the back is the preferred target on PC? I find I spend almost as much time running behind him after he turns as I do actually shooting him.

Without doubt: Aiming and maneuvering is easier on a keyboard+mouse set up. So it is no big deal to run after him. It is all about good positioning. Combined with large target and a +15% DMG from behind Perk, it is a success-proven tactic.

Easier to organise with PUGs.
Tell them to shoot the left arm and they shoot the right.
Tell them to shoot the back and they shoot the back.
Don't tell them anything and they shoot the head... (That's what I did as a beginner.)

Spike conserving as well. You only need 1-2 Spikes to supply the group.

Given these factors the success-rate with random players in a Warmaster Battle is higher on PC as on XBOX/PS3, imho.

On a site note: We also use the +45% Crit on empty shield Perk. That's our main reason for not using BMGs. To all low/mid-EGOs: Use syphon or BH Tachmags. Nano procs, which you benefit from, will be provided from highEGOs.

Still a noob but I had read this thread over a couple of times before dealing with a WM last night. I didn't shoot the locks and tried to get everyone to stop but obviously failed. After he was free there were lots of vets yelling in the team chat to stop shooting the WM. I couldn't understand why since he was the only target in the room but when I asked the reply I got was "damage". In the end the WM expectedly got away but it was really an eye opener for me after having read this thread on the do's and don'ts for the WM. The right arm was my main focus and I did more damage for sure than in the past. Next time hopefully others will read this before entering. Thanks for posting it.

True my Blackend Hellfire Assault Rifle gets really good critical damage on warmaster's arm after the Armor breaks.

My fav guns to use on Warmaster are:

Damage
OJ EMC LMG with BIO Nano fully t5 Modded - Clip Size is 234
OJ DC-12 DRUMMER with Rad Nano Fully t4 Modded

Critical
OJ DC-5 Golden Ring with Rad nano Crit 7.2x
OJ DC-2 Turtle Dove with Rad Nano Crit 4.0x

but i like to experiment with some of my fav guns see to how they do... Hellfire AR did pretty well!
