I have a pump and a sawed off shotgun. My question is what is the best stock for each, recoil buttstock or close quarters buttstock? I am leaning towards the close quarters for the sawed off and the recoil for the pump. Thoughts?

Recoul for Pump,Melee for the Sawn-off Shotgun if it has a long reload.

This^

Also take into account that most shotguns don't have alot of Recoil, or Recoil at all. They're very easy to handle. So a Melee isnt always the worse choice.

I follow the above parameters for the most part though.

Even for a courier with 0.5 reload, a melee stock don't hurt it.
Bout the only shotgun I can think of that NEEDS a recoil stock is berzerker, or a multi shot courier (like an ooooldie with +8mag mastery)
