View Full Version : 4/4 MG synergy effect seems to be working randomly or not at all.(PS3)

I have a mg blast rifle with all 4 mods to syn. I have seen the random hellbug nano chain effect go off a couple times, but in testing it on trash mobs it definitely is not going off every 10 seconds on hit.

Is it just some small percent chance of working with a 10s cooldown?

I also noticed it seems to not trigger if you are too far away from the target..ie: it will trigger long after your shot when something else comes in range of it.

I just tried shooting a few bullets at a time at trash mobs right next to me, and nothing. I also never saw any text for the fire rate/dmg effect that goes along with it.

Edit: further testing I did see the message with the fire rate bonus..and the nano chain did go off a few times but there seems to be a few second delay after the hit..and sometimes it still isnt working..or at least not animating at all.

The effect says on hit, but its probably not a 100% chance on hit unfortunately. Happens on pc too.

If it is supposed to be 100% then something is wrong for sure.

Works 100% of the time for me, tested on a few different weapons too

I finally used a fully lit br last night ...not sure what is supposed to happen ? nothing seemed to happen ...

Well just tested Hema and Sap and both dont work on hit straight away, and the proc message says 10 seconds, which it aint (differs from the description of the syn) and it took 20 or so seconds to proc it again.

I think it's bugged and the proc is working weirdly with the hellbug proc somehow.

This is in a non lagged area.

been playing since the 1st day of the event . still havet seen it on my br . and a friend recorded vids all day yesterday . with jp canker. and nothing

Again apparently it's not a PC issue so i doubt they're going to fix it.

Console player here. The nano explosion appears to be working on my MG guns.

Granted, I haven't tested it every ten seconds to see if it'll proc but whenever I do switch to Saprophyte it works (using the gun as secondary weapon).

OK so it shoots out some green goo and kills almost everything at threat level six and under that's in front of you

It depends on the nano of the explosion. E.g., if electric nano procs, you'll see electricity sphere thingies explode

yea, i agree this effect may not be working quite right. i see it trigger often enough BUT, it sometimes appears either right out of the weapon, or on my arkhunter. i have noticed this when there is no enemies next to me.

The nano visual won't be seen in a highly populated area, much like players, hellbugs, mass cannons phase out at the current cc arks. Try the weapon at a daily contract, coop, expo.

I have found the blast tends to emanate from the spot which you stand, sometimes with a delay, and it can go in any direction (it is targeted towards [usually the closest] enemy).

i had it proc on me in pvp . a bio 1 and it snare me . i couldnt move or roll .
