As of right now, anyone who has run multiple maps understands that shotguns are the cream of the crop for PvP, and this isn't a qq thread about nerfing them or crying about them, the reason shotguns are so popular is because of how small maps are in PvP, a great way to expand on uses of different guns in this game is to add objectives and to create bigger maps, by creating bigger maps there are bigger open field battles where most likely shot guns are as viable, and if bigger maps are created that doesn't mean adding more players to it, by extending the size of a map and making in seem large in scale compared to the number of players in it, it would allow for more diversity in weapon selections

Maps arnt small its play style. Stand off players don't rush the middle. Spend more time playing PvP and you'll see players carry shotguns and ARs/detonators this is to deal with situations. Just get used to it instead of blaming something.

pulser smgs / infectors are really the only other viable hip fire weapons. They need to adjust bloom / hip fire accuracy / rofire on pistols / ars / lgms as well as allowing players to zoom/ aim their weapons without the aim speed being slowed down.

This would allow for more variety. If you want a really good hip fire option buy a pulser smg the vendors often sell a green version. Fast reload / low bloom / great dps and very accurate from the hip.

Freight yard should be TDM as an option and have the TDM maps have capture and hold as an option. These PvP maps need to be better design for PvP, Freight Yard and Waterfront are great, they other one not so much.
