Wtf is going on with the servers now try to get in game and keep getting timed out this is more b.s. from trion

I got the no score bug and went to the dashboard. An hour later and I still can’t get past the character selection screen.

Same problem with me... I wouldn't care too much if there were a given reason for this, but there was no warning to this. Devs please fix this so we can get back to playing!

Yep, logged in to do some daily n move some gear. Cleared cache and same. Said screw it.

Hi,
Well I have had this connection issue (connecting and getting to my character choice, but will not connect to the NA game) for a few days now on the North American server. But I have no issues logging in, creating a character and actually playing it on the Europe server. None.

I have all the ports needed to run Defiance (I'm also using Win7), I was able to connect and use the Europe server, so its a NA server bug. Maybe the DDOS settings are blocking real players from connecting?


UPDATE: I logged back into the UK server to play my new character and after 10 min of play the UK server has now bounced my connection as well. The Defiance server is blocking legitimate connections.

There's a good reason why the fanbase is dwindling. I love this game, and I love what the devs have done so far, but I just wish they would be more supportive of their community.

How does a gaming company create online-only games yet suck with connectivity like Trion does. It going on 5 years of this "Fingers crossed I dont crit" gaming experience.

We are on a "Every 9 minute disconnect" speed running contract situation...but I guess its better than right now "Unable to connect at this time. Please try again later." session.

I cringe everytime I think of the thousands of dollars Ive dumped into this game. And whats really sad is 9 out of the last 10 support issues Ive opened tickets for were closed unsatisfactorily.

No more excuses Trion...FIX IT!!!!!

Every 8 minutes? Must be your connection. I disconnect 2-3 times a day max sometimes not at all.

Xbox NA topic, and yes we "average" 9 minute uptimes as of late, and its an entire server dump. Stay in your lane about "must be your connection" comments...thats Trions support punchline.

Its insane I paid for patron pass and cant even play longer than 15min. Its really frustrating nothing can be done. Then they banned me for 3days in the forums complaining.

I can't imagine the amount of willpower it takes for people to still play this broken game. I would've gone mad if I hadn't quit.

So maybe its has something to do with the area your in or something. If it was 100% the server then i would be critting all the time aswell....

Its crazy how so many people cant log in. Only me and a few others are on right now lol. Hopefully they fix this for the people who cant log into the game.

The devs are closing down old threads when they get brought up, but this is completely ignored and without response. They're online, so why aren't they telling us what's going on?

Ive been trying to get on since kicked around 1pm et got on for 5min around 4pm and zero getting on now at 740pm. Lmao this is an episode in itself, Lol!!!

I completely forgot that they gave out compensation for unannounced server issues. Huh. That would be really nice, but next time I'll take a simple response from the dev saying, "We know what's going on, we're working on it," or something like that.

I just want to get my claims but already lost those.. Been down the whole day. Usually have 30plus friends playing.. Been zero to 1 all day. Reimbursement isn't the problem they have right now.. Its getting someone to pry away from Rift forums long enough to come here to check out the problem. Sorry, but it's been stated numerous times that they have so much going on with other games like rift and trove and it takes time away from here with a sorry at the end... Sorry don't cut it. When a shard dump problem is being ignored for a week or better... That's a problem

I just noticed another form post that was closed by Xio Narius a super mod, so there are mods on the website. Not sure why there hasn't been some sort of notice or response to the many posts.

I guess I'm going to watch the new Star Wars movie now to get my sci-fi fix. : (

wtf........Trion really does not give a rats *** about us bahaha. I have not been able to log on all day. These guys better throw us some compensation or maybe even just some acknowledgment would be great. Don't lose our faith anymore than you have already Trion

Like the rest of you, I've been trying to log in from Xbox NA for around 6 1/2 hours without any luck. It really sucks when you are paying for a patron pass and hear that a few are playing and you are stuck on the outside. I'll roll with this as long as I do not lose anything big in my claims items and they make some sort of restitution, but this is the second time in what, (six weeks?) that I couldn't play (other time the server was down for all). I want to support Trion but the neglect of paying customers is starting to push the envelope.
