I hate racing games with a passion so I have no idea what this means. How do I do it in terms of what keys to press? Nothing I've tried seems to increase the distance for the Pursuit.

just steer left or right and use the brake at the same time, when you got some speed :)

I managed to do it with boost (Shift) and Handbrake (Space) at the same time, Not sure if there is an easier way, but thats what worked for me

Get to an area with a wide open space. Then ride in a runner at full speed. Once reached, apply your handbrake, steer left/right and press your boost. This will cause you to powerslide a huge distance.

I need to do it with a roller :C

The runner I managed by just doing donuts, lol

Do you have a controller for the PC? It would be much easier for you

The vehicles have brakes?

I've been hitting reverse to stop. Thanks for the info.

Like they said turn with boost plus handbrake (default key SPACE) at same time. I'd do boost before brake so you don't lose momentum.

You can accomplish this by doing a high jump (use the location you used for the 1020 spin jump) and just do that same jump but holding the break down as you spin.

You can oddly powerslide while in the air.

hehe I was right there with you.. "You mean this thing has brakes? what are those for...."

Anyone know a good spot for a 1080?

You don't even need to turn to powerslide. Just go forward, boost, then hit the handbrake. Rinse and repeat. You'll have the achievement in 2 minutes.

Easiest way with the runner is Open space Hold down W and either A or D Also hold down Space. While doing that hit boost when you can around every 25% mark You can hold it down on the initial time btu after always have at least 25% takes maybe 5 minutes to get the powerslide for runners. Cars are much easier Dunis are super easy.

Glad I'm not the only one that missed the existance of a brake...

I just hold down the accelerator and the handbrake(not brakes as this just stops you) then I turn left or right and go in circles while hitting the boost- you can powerslide and do donuts that way!

when... thinking of powerslide... think of drifting in other games

Boost, hard break (space) + turn, boost

If you see skid marks on the road (not your pants) your doing it right

Basically measure the distance of the skid to get the distance your at

I used a long downhill curve, there's one at Bloodbath Turnout if I remember right, get at the top, head down into the long curve at full speed. Now while holding the forward button down, turn into the curve and hit the boost and brake and powerslide down and through the curve. I think it only took 3 or 4 runs to get the pursuit.

The tower easter egg in SF Downtown is the easiest place for the 1080. You have to finish "No Finer Place" quest first, then find the pillar that says "Climb higher" and keep going up until you're at the top. Call your runner, drive off and turn.

I couldn't imagine trying to drive a vehicle with a keyboard. Sounds... strange. Just hook any old Xbox controller up. :P

And just so you know, the power slide distance is cumulative..so a foot here and a foot there adds up to many KM's...
