"No ETA for bringing them back online."

You should take some reading comprehension classes.

This still better then the original World of Warcraft launch. That was a painful thing.

Very much agreed. And on the TBC launch, I must've waited 15-20 odd hours for that **** to get straight.

the painfull part of wow launch was people being idiotic enough to buy it in the first place after the mess they made of dII and WCIII

I had three days time waited with the TBC launch. None due to my connection.

Actually it was not. It was the one of the first widely popular MMOs that had a true commercial success. Do not forget that there was there many before it.

Don't fall for the old 'wow was first MMO' troll, my friend. It's not worth it. ;)

In your opinion.

In my experience as a child, way back in the day - Dark Age of Camelot introduced me to the MMO world. Gotta love your oldschool.

Well, that was kinda 12 years ago.
Just a statement, nothing else.

Its sad.

I never learn it , they never learn it.

I because i always believe in the miracle a company finnaly starts to follow exact processes to release patches.
They because they always seem to be releasing buggy patches onto the public in launch months.

I can only say , or maybe ask , how is it that you guys keep your jobs , while i would be on the street instantly if i would mess up like this on systems that bring in sales , or are used by our customers.

Tip : Let us watch the episode in our client :) It is not shown in ALL countries for your info :)

Read up on Ultima Online. EA under estimated how many people that would want to play online. They felt 5k was a lot. But when beta was announced they had 50k players signed up. And this is back in the days of day up, and pay by the hour internet service. I recall having a American online [AOL] bill each month of over 100 bucks. All because of UO. I would burn my 20 hours, and then some.

You are the only one. I'd suggest doing a ALT+4, and then unplugging your PC from the wall/power strip at the same time. This will prevent anybody from hacking your information.

12 years? The ****?

Anarchy Online was 12 years ago. And that was TERRIBLE.

Rubberbanding, unable to zone, randomly disconnecting and unable to reconnect. All of this happening on a regular basis.

Oh yes, this is a terrible launch.
