So, after you beat nim on the last mission the law keeper says "aint no rest for the wicked" just like how borderlands 2 ends. Hmmmmm

Opinions??

Possible but it is a pretty cliche saying lol. On that note, "'Aint no rest for the wicked" was the chorus? I believe in the Borderlands 1 theme song.. I 4got the name of that song. Just info. :]

It may not be related to Borderlands st all. That is a very old and widely used saying. But its still cool none the less.

"Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" was the song in the intro for Borderlands 1. Borderlands 2 ended with "How You Like Me Now" I believe.
Nevertheless, it's not exactly a new phrase. I don't think the intent was to reference Borderlands.

The song is by Cage The Elephant and it's called "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked". Great song too.

The other song in the trailers and the end credits is "No Heaven" by DJ Champion.

I think cut the flesh, watch it bleed it more of a "reference"

They both use that exact phrase in the final cutscene ... definitely a reference imo. Especially since defiance uses Borderlands for inspiration in lots of ways.

Honestly I feel the saying is common enough, especially in the context of "there is more to come."
