I can not defeat him and keep getting killed. Is it possible for more than one player at a time to do this. If so will somebody be on sometime today or tommorrow to help me with it. I have had it with this game. They send huge mechanical enemies, hellbug monarchs, and mobs of 20 - 30 various other enemies at you and I die. Hard to defeat them all.

I had a similar problem with Jackleg Joe. I finally beat him but I wished I could have gotten some help. It should be an option, but it isn’t. Good luck.

I think you have to solo the last mission. What i found useful was using blur as the ego power, a respark shield for quick regen, and an lmg. Being really fast and using the dodge command helped avoid the damage. There is also the self medicated perk which recharges your revive more quickly.

Happy hunting

Im in the same boat. Unfortunately, some people just don't possess the quick twitch responses necessary to complete this mission. It has nothing to do with not dodge/rolling, or picking the wrong perks, or weapon etc. Some people just don't have the necessary reaction speed to accomplish this task.

Right now, I'm just doing the episode missions and cleaning up the side missions I've got left while I wait and hope they will change these missions to reflect the "mmo" tag they've advertised this game as, and let us bring a team. I've solo'd the entire game, every mission, every side mission (with the exception of the few where a random player wanders into my area), so I obviously can play the game. Had no problem with Jackleg Joe either. This mission is just different in the requirement for your reaction speed.

Solo only

Try equipping the perk Thick Skinned. It will give you 1 extra hit when he starts doing the dash charge attack. So instead of 2 shotting you, especially if your close to the wall. He has to take 3 hits to kill you.
Overcharge helps as well, but not necessary. I would stick to a SAW or AR. For easiest time go with FRC SAW, LM-12 Thunder, or TACC AR (but if you use Thunder you will have to pick up ammo more often). Instant ammo caches on the floor.

You may have been in a glitched enemy spawn area. If the enemies begin to overrun you, try your best to fallback to cover. Except hellbugs, they don't care if your behind cover. Gradually fall back, cover to cover, and take out the enemies 1 by 1, or get a ground pounder have a blast!

A lot of people, including myself, died a lot before they beat Nim the first time. If you keep trying new things, I bet you will find a way to beat him that works for you. Good luck

I took the slow and steady route.
Overcharge with an lmg with syphon, a bmg and a high capacity shield. My 3 main perks were thick skinned, gunslinger and preparedness.

I would shoot him with the lmg until he did so much dmg to me, switch to bmg to heal and deal dmg to him when I could. Preparedness would reload my lmg while I was healing and once your bmg startsreloading switch back to lmg. The bmg will recharge while in your backpocket. This allows you to have a constant source of damage and healing at all times.

Good luck!

I went with an LMG with Siphon as well myself, I used Overcharge, and for his first two lives I simply picked a corner and camped in it. I used a high power shield with 50% hp regen and elec. resist, had a longer recharge time but if you put down the LMG fire properly you never have to worry about your health to much. Minor dodging during these parts, and it was particularly effective when he started sending out clones as they would all funnel in to me, and when he attacks from above (again with clones) all you have to do is kill any you can see and be safe from the rest. Once he got to his last form, I focused on dodging, do not try to shoot him until he goes into cooldown (usually after 3-4 charges), and pop overcharge at the same time to deal more damage. All togather I'd say his first two forms took me maybe 15-20 minutes, and his last one took 30-45 because of the focus on dodging his charge attacks. Oh, and yes, I did die, several times, before figuring out what worked for me.

I liked Nim. Had to sleep on it before i could beat him. Something like that but in raid format would be sick. He is half cyborg, bring Nim back! Maybe someone should start a bring Nim Back campaign.

I am not coordinated enough to run around and dodge nims attacks and attack him. Blame it on two individuals who crashed their cars into mine and caused muscle and nerve damage. I have one more side mission left to do and that will be the last one I can do ,except if episode mission appears. I think that if I can not defeat nim,no other missions will appear. I could only do arkfalls. If this is the case I will quit game and play others I have bought and not played yet. Star Wars The Old Republic is similar and anybody can help you with all the missions. What is wrong with the developers of this game? A true mmo would allow someone to play it with me,just like the other missions other people end up doing same time I am doing them.

I beat him on my first try with a radioactive auto-fragger and blur. Did die once at each checkpoint though, helped me figure out what to do lol. Would like more bosses like this, and if possible, HARDER >:D

Try using blur to dodge, with perks that make it last longer and recharge faster. That way youll be a step ahead of him most of the time. Also play around with different guns, if you get frustrated take a break. Try once a day, eventually youll get it.

Pro Tip: The room you fight Nim in has columns, use them to funnel his Decoys leaving only Nim, then PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE!

Harder Boss Possibility.

"Ur-Nim" XD and Undead Nim in the form of a Giant Tank.
"Ego" A twist in Psychological Torture, she tries to kill you and only you can see her... would make for a good co-op mission... one person fights Ego while the rest stare with a blank face...
"Vergal the Invincible!" a 300 foot Hulker named Vergal.

Dont use rifles or machine guns. Equip cloak, your shield with the most capacity, a bmg, and a sawed off.Just jump around to dodge his stuff, occasionally roll. Get really close, then shoot with the sawed off. Use a pump if your aim isnt good enough. Cloak if you cant heal. When he attacks in stage 3, get far away. Use the pillars as cover against the fire balls. Good luck

Ahem...Allow me to translate

I've grown tired of defeating Nim. Hopefully soon a greater challenge will be implemented. When I first fought Nim, I was only at an Ego Rating of 377. Now, at an Ego Rating of 2,097, he poses no challenge whatsoever. I must have defeated him a billion times or so by now. I have to wonder when the DLC will be released so I can continue with the main mission story progression. I've completed everything, including my pursuits, and need more content to work on even though my current Ego Rating is less than half the current cap. :p

I pray that was a troll, and not someone we've willingly allowed out into society.

I don't see all the fuss about Nim lads. He is laughably easy to defeat in one go around.
I would say in mmo or tps games... he has to have been one of the easiest "boss" fights ever.

Nim was easier than any end of game boss I ever played against.
Phase 1 I just let him get close and rolled out of the way and fired.
Phase 2 Just stay on one side of the room, used overload and shot him as each one came at me.
Phase 3 Used overload and shot we he moved, once he jumps I ran away and jumped and fired when he lands. Used the columns when he did his spinning blade projectile move. Rinse and repeat.

For the whole fight I used an assault rifle and my EGO was at 1,002.

Either a very beefy shield or a quick reloading one, and Cloak (when you activate Cloak your shields start recharging so it goes well with a beefy shield).

You don't really need to dodge as much as just keep running around and wait for his weakened phase. I found the fight to be rather tedious but I managed it in my first attempt using Cloak, an AR, and some defensive perks like Self-Medicated and Thick Skinned.

I had a lot of trouble with Nim myself. Then I decided to use Bioblast grenades on his *** and also carried a BMG VOT Protector for healing. Mainly shot him entirely with a VOT Fragger shotgun with a fire synergy of some sort. He is a serious pain in the *** and I began to think that I would never beat him. Just try to get a decent combat shotgun and wait till you have some better level mods on it. Then go in there and give em' Hell.

I beat nim with ease using cloak for shotgun attacks using perks that gave me a bonus for shooting while behind and cloaked. simply dodge and jump and hit him up close with a good double barrel and a nice combat shotty when he starts sending clones after you... took me one try at around level 300

use a charge sniper rifle charge up when he flashes blue and when he stops blast him, i used a epic Splitshot rifle from ego 626? and killed him in 3 shots, then on second part stand close to the pillar/post near ammo cache charge and blast as his clones run towards you this only takes a couple of shots then snipe the higher lvl nims, last part involves running and charging but he goes down too fast. only problem i had was a small bug entering the 3rd part.

I can't fight him if he doesn't show up. I can drop him fast enough in the first round, but in the second I fight him and his decoys 3 times then he stops showing up.
