Tired of generic arkfalls? Ever wonder why arkfalls look like a crystal? Getting tired of arkfalls looking like a chunk of burning crystal and having to pop that puppy open like a pinata? Wanting more of a challenge? Never fear, your challenge is here...

Terraforming has left it's mark upon the 8 races...

Sins of the past now haunt all that remain....

Terraspires of old hang like the sword of Damoclese in the night sky....

The destruction of yesterday haunts all who live today...

slowly....the derilict husk of former glories falls into the upper atmosphere. It's sheer size belies the doom that awaits for those below. It's deadly cargo unstable from decades of neglect. A bright flash, a sonic boom the likes of which no one has ever heard before. a dark deep rumbling in the bones....

It strikes.....more massive than 10 arkfalls combined.....the arkship arrives like the return of a revengefull god
full of sound and fury....signaling the end of all.

It's massive....this wreckage....taller than any that have fallen before. a hellbug hive prime could easily fit into this husk. Bays agape, it stands open to the world....open to any who would dare venture forth into it's dark depths. open....and exposed. This once grand behemoth has now become a twisted characiture of it's former glory. In the very belly of this beast lays the doom of our time.....

Shining like a pale sun, the largest of the terraspires....the planet breaker, the bringer of new life, the bane of the living.....stands like a silver sentinel in the heart of the beast....and it is alive....It's timer on a long slow countdown to annhilation and rebirth....

primal screams in the distance....the rumble of massive footsteps.......the shouts of madness. Hulkers have arrived. Their numbers are few, but with grim determination they charge their way to the wreckage challenging all who get in their way......even in their madness, they know this is too big to pass up.....

The ground trembles....rocks shake, and trees quiver.....the earth is rent asunder as lumbering Monarchs lurch forth from the underbelly of hell itself. they are drawn, like moths of old, to the impact point of the wrekage. their hunger for gulanite never to be quenched , their appetite for destruction.....formidable....

We arrive...arkhunters from all walks of life, from all points...all destinatons...to the promise of a richly rewarded payday. We arrive...and see the carnage that awaits us.....the imposible made real....

The Hulkers and the Monarchs at war.....on a scale we could never imagine....

Telemetry data starts to pour in....the EGO is almost in a panic, as she tells you what is inside this wreckage. "there's no time to loose.....The terraspire is on a countdown to detonation. We must get inside and destroy it before we are all killed....Hurry!"

We race in, where even angels and demons fear to tread....our purpose...grim. A few Hulkers and Monarchs break away from the fight and turn their fevored attentions on us. WE FIGHT ON!!! to do anything less would mean the end of all. the race is on.....Get to the spire, as fast as you are able....destroy it! DESTROY IT!!! Destroy it before it's TOO LATE!!!!

Many will fall....Few will prevail....will you be...the "savior of the Bay"?

This is a Major Individual Arkfall (does not spawn minor arkfalls within it's circle). This arkfall consists of a combat portion (monarchs and hulkers), followed by a destruction portion (the terraspire), with a time limit TBD. The overall goal of this arkfall is to destroy the terraspire before the timer runs out.

The wreckage does not look like standard arkfall stuff. Instead, it's a hull section of a massive arkship. It stands as high as a hell bug hive, but is over arching covering a fairly large area. Entry is gained to the interior by way of massive hatches on 4 sides of the wreckage. entry into those hatches involves defeating hulker and monarch squads fighting at each hatch....only when all 4 hatches are opened will the protective cradle surrounding the terraspire retract, exposing the spire to damage. During the inner phase of the event, random hellbugs and mutants will spawn inside the wreck until defeated, culminating in a final battle between 2 Hulker captains, and 2
Monarch Primes. During this phase of the event, players must balance their attacks between the hulkers, the monarchs, and the terraspire itself. Failure to do so, results in one of three outcomes.

1. death by hulker.
2. eaten by monarchs.
3. total terraspire annhilation.

this system allows players to work together (squad enabling....you can attack this thing with your buddies in a group, with multiple groups) to achieve specific goals. Squads of players will attack each target individually (multiple squads, multiple targets). Three running damage bars at the top of the screen will allow all players to track the enemy health simultaneously in 4 equal sections, and provide a way for players to see which targets they need to focus on. there is no "attack x first, y second, z third"....this is cooperative combat mechanics on a massive PvE scale. This means that players will need to think about their loadouts before the endgame starts...what works best to defeat Hulkers? what works best to defeat monarchs? The terraspire is combat neutral so any weapon will damage it.

Successful attempts will be rewarded with an elevated loot table. this is a hard event....It needs some hard rewards. (possibly a random orange if successful) and the bragging rights of saving the world in the process...

this is not for the faint of heart.....only the strong, the quick, the witty....will survive.









With all the doom n' gloom, constant negativity, and general frustration threads that seem to be the focus of everyone's attention these days...I would like to take a moment to think for the future of the game, and all the possibilities that could exist therin....dream big, or go home......
