They took down the servers so Sledge could go for a joyride in his Cerberus across San Francisco. Such a tragedy!

I heard it was a dev team vacation. Camping and Hannibal races in Marin. Be patient while they take some very needed downtime.

That's not a fail... the filmer drove like a boss.

The other idiots... well yeah.

Bet he was standing by a pillar at the overpass and he tried to spawn it. Then it became one with the pillar, then proceeded to bounce around the pillar, destroying things (I dub this the world pillar) and created a maelstrom in the earth and sucked everything into an endless void.

They made some hellbug soup too and drove their pink challengers upside down.

Are you sure he didn't just drive that into the Server room?

Maybe they're still tweaking the color on the Golden Gate Bridge.

BREAKING: Team still working on servers. 12 hrs later with no fix in sight. Quick fix according to @DefianceGame: Call ISP and terminate internet connection. Only works for Wii version. Will find other fixes for other platforms in the coming months.

From this post I get the sense that you've read The Dark Tower books.

I can now confirm. Staff has been cut by 80% from 5 to 1. Sledge last man standing. Tweeting in between coffee breaks. Many sleepless nights to come.

Religiously. Was such a shame that the film and tv show adaptation was scrapped. Was hoping to see it on HBO soon.

However, there is a rumor of a "mysterious" investor that might resurrect the original premise of doing two seasons of a show to tie in 3 movies.
