My fave fcr saw cost 26'000 salvage to reset, i initially thought this was very expensive but after seeing what others had to pay to reset there weapons I thought I was quite lucky,
Ive just gone to reset it for the 3rd/4th time and the cost was only 4'000 salvage is this a glitch or have Trion listened to our issues

Just checked your statement and it seems to be lowered by ALOT.

A weapon that previously cost me between 100-200k salvage to reset, now only takes 25k to reset.

I suppose everybody will forget this next time there is a big bug with the game & go back to Trion-hating

Don't think it's a bug, the former prices were totally out of hand.

Punishment for playing and get higher EGO, logical? Sure, if the salvage gains would increase but it doesn't.

I just meant Trion clearly listened to the community on this one but everyone will revert to Trion bashing at the most minor excuse, sad but true. It's strange that this wasn't mentioned in the patch notes.

Oh thank goodness! I have been carrying around 12 Infectors, 9 Grenade Launchers, 13 combat shotguns and a few others just to try and level them up. I'd get rid of them but didn't want to hunt for one or pay the exorbitant amount to keep resetting. I'm also trying to keep the ones with decent Synergy... for whenever I figure out where to get said mods.

Is there any bonus to leveling different weapons over the same one?

I think 25k may be the max. I have an orange Vot Bolter EGO 1430 that used to cost 67k to reset, and now it's at 25k.

I'm not on right now, so I can't check myself, but was there an across-the-board reduction on high-level salvage matrix costs, or was it just the mastery reset that was changed?

I definitely noticed that Legendaries are 25K and Epics are 10k. A very welcome change!

Now if only we could bring down the mod costs.

One weapon might get 10% EGO power recharge on full reload as the Mastery bonus. Another might get 15% self-revive recharge on revive other player. The useful one is up to you, but the more chances that *I* had for the EGO recharge, the happier I'd be.

So maxing out everything then doing a reset on the 'good' ones until Level 20 is a good way to go...
