Changes to inventory...

For a game where one can collect so many weapons, shields and grenades, I was expecting a slightly more robust inventory system.

I'd like to see a "favorite" tab where all your best gear can be stored without fear of selling it (although you can always buy it back) or breaking it down into resources by mistake. The normal inventory will house all other items picked up in game (and over a bonus loot weekend, this can be hundreds) - so I'd also like to see an option to breakdown to resources a number of items at once, not the painstaking process of selecting one at a time.

Also, each weapon variant will have a separate tab within the inventory - one tab for shotguns, rocket launchers, shields etc - the favorite tab will combine all these items once they've been moved from the normal inventory.

I may be mistaken but i believe they mentioned they were looking at changing the inventory tab to make it easier to use. It would be helpful.

You have seen the couple of posts this past week about Arkfalls and sight mods with actual devs, not just community managers posting have you not?

On topic, they have alluded to lots of UI changes in the DLC coming "soon". Most of the talk about the UI has centered in inventory, salvage matrix and chat. So I wouldn't be surprised to see something done with it.

I'd be happy with favorites, weapons, shields, mods, grenades. Or to make it even more simplified, just Favorites, Items (shields, weapons, grenades), and Mods--- just 3 tabs.

Having a favorites that you can't accidentally salvage is great.

Another thing I would love to see.... starting back where you left off (like if you are salvaging or trading) instead of going back to the top of the list each and every single time! I know there are certain tricks that are work-a-rounds, but just starting back at item #69 once you scrapped/"put-in-trade-window" item # 68 is a lot less annoying.
