If there is no "Classes" + Full Respec why do we need more than 1 Character?

    honestly, i liked having multiple characters... i get bored of looking at the same character too much...

    Dragon's Dogma would only let you have 1 character per save device...that is kinda cruddy IMO but throw in a USB drive and you're good to go lol!!

    I'm sure a lot of ppl are like that but to me a game becomes a bit of a grind when i stick with one character for two long.. i mean...i haven't played Borderlands 2 in forever because of that "grind feel."

    Nah, I've finished all the missions in the starting area and I've gone back and just randomly helped newbies. Granted, in a larger world, I might do that less often simply because it then becomes a smaller percentage of the total area to play.

    Contracts are for kill XXXX type enemy. There will be those types in high level areas and low level areas. Also I'm not talking about some EGO 2,000+ person coming back to start area and helping 20-40s that would just annoy me having someone 1 shot all my stuff while I'm trying to play.

    What I'm saying is there wont be many 0-500's in starting areas playing together.

    Weapon scaling is not how you mention it. The higher level weapons offer more customization, not substantially higher damage; this isn't Borderlands. A level 5,000 EGO rating means you have ample perks and equipment, but none of the weapons are substantially better than the starting gear. Also, Arkfalls and other dynamic events will keep different areas populated. Contracts are just one part of this equation.
