I liked it so I got it. I had credit from PSN (a few times I had gotten PSN messages in my inbox that were actually legit and credited me $10. Used 'em and had some money on my PSN) so I got them. My birthday is July 4th so I've always collected stuff like that. It is pretty cool looking tho, even tho it's the same heavy armor skin as the SPD Heavy, the Recruit A Friend Armor and one or 2 others I already had but the color scheme looks sweet. Though it cost about $12, technically it didn't cost me a thing LOL plus I got 4 orange weapons from boxes I bought with the remaining bits so all turned out well. :)

But on the subject of the 4th of July "patriotic" armor, I think it looks decent enough.
It looks awesome in my opinion....almost bought it but decided to save the bits for when the DLC comes out.
I was hoping for something a little WWII-esque. Solid OD green color with white decals on it (and obviously the American white-star-in-white-circle).
The Captain America suit is okay too.

I still had bits from the sale on PS3 and I invested 'em on this new amor.
I really like it, even though to me doesn't look patriotic at all because I'm Italian, but I really like those colors together and the metal glow on it. It looks very beautiful in-game.
I kinda fancy the idea of a whole set of "flag themed" armors... just to give TRION the excuse to do more recoloring! :P

The whole Captain America theme is popular now, so no surprise people like it.
I don't make a huge deal about re-skinning the same armor because SWTOR did the exact same thing.
Im seeing a lot more ppl then I thought wearing it.
The more bad *** the armor/outfit looks the more ppl that end up wearing it. Because of that it gets diluted and the outfit no longer is bad ***.
I like it, but I'm not dropping that much money for an outfit.
It's odd... I've only seen it on 2 other people (possibly cuz half the time everyone looks generic LOL) but I really kinda like it
I saw it 6 or 7 times last night on NA PC over a 2-3 hour period. It definitely sticks out.
When the bits go on sale again, I will buy some and pick it up.
I like it in the same way that I like the old- school Captain America outfit more than the updated one... in secret and never in conversation with my peers.
I actually felt insulted when I saw the price tag. I can see myself spending a few dollars but I'm not paying that much for a graphic. Especially when I paid $160 for the game and have yet to see my DLC's.

I bought the armor but not the helmet.. I hate those bugeyed armor helmets.. I'm more the Samus/Spartan visor styled girl. Luckily, the Riveter helmet fits with the color scheme pretty well.
Almost bought it, but decided on the EMC Loyalist outfit and helmet instead. I'll probably buy it when the next paycheck comes. I think it looks sharp, but I'm still a little iffy on the price, seeing as how I wear mostly clothing based outfits instead of armor.
I don't think I want to spend that kind of money on something cosmetic where most people are just going to wind up seeing a marshmallow man.

I don't know specific items, since I'm at work, but it does say 'select outfits and headgear.' So, I'm not sure if it would include the Patriotic armor or not. But I figure I can add a couple more outfits to my collection ...
When they first put up the blog post it included the liberty armor, but when I looked at it now, it no longer counts. :(

If it's the latter (and Trion would be evil in doing so) then I'd nab it for collecting purposes.
