Just kidding, best strategy I've found is to use a Courier to bring them to their knees and then blast away with a SAW.

Personnally, I go for a Tachmag Pulser / VOT Fragger / Overcharge build, since I still need to fully level up these weapons types... Pretty efficient.
Uploading a gameplay video now with 7 solo emergencies in 15 minutes, and that includes travel time.
Decoy + Wolfhound to the head + Infector grenades. Works pretty well for me. They have giant hit boxes on their heads.
I keep reading wolfhound does pretty good, I'm going to have to try it out
AR with scope to the face. None of this fire rockets or grenades at them.
over charge + wolfhound with crit mods + shoot it in the face!
SAW to the face takes them all down pretty fast unless it's an elite. Then I usually have to use some cover and just burn the lessers down as fast as possible.

Find cover and start sniping with vbi/emc bolt action, let them run toward you (theres a perk for that :P) You should be able to take out the basic volge like this if any of them get close I've got a pyro grenade and cloak +30% dmg, then for their bomber cloak and sniper again just keep moving , for the boss just keep popping out of cover with an smg he's pretty slow and easy to dodge his shots
