The fact that this issue has taken so long to formally resolve one way or the other is problematic. Hopefully the resolution is worth the wait.

It's possible that those against the notion were heard in large enough numbers to warrant a second look at implementing the region locked servers. It's also possible that we could be overreacting to a miscommunication, and what Sledge actually meant was that the game discs themselves would be region locked, not the servers...
I doubt it, but who knows?
I wanna play with fellow merican's. Not some English guy who like's Harry Potter, spotted d**k, and enjoys an occasional tea (joking... Or am I?).

We don't have regional locking for the PC platform because Trion can control that. I have beta chars on both North America and EU. So, if Sledge can swing his hammah and make these region locks go away it will be good for the player base AND good for Trion.
