Solo-ing the Vulge(My Strategy and Story)
So I logged on tonight and went looking for the Volge to have myself a good battle. I was just north of Seascape farms around the fields and dirt roads just traveling along and I run into a Volge emergency. I was by myself and nobody else was around. I took off toward them and started attacking. I knew this was a bad idea, but I was too close to turn back now. lol I got my *** handed to me because there were 3 of them and they surrounded me.
On my way back, I stopped before I got there and sat there thinking there has to be a better way. I remember in the show they let the Volge enter deep into the pass before they attacked, luring them in for the surprise attack. This got me thinking. I went around the emergency and surveyed the whole area, coming up with a strategy I could use. The Volge will chase you very far distances, which is great because it adds a whole new element to fighting. I had my idea.
There were those solar panel buildings in the fields and the place was crawling with Nano effect hellbugs everywhere. I had my strategy and was ready for battle. This was going to work, I could feel it in my bones. The Volge would regret the day Krixuss crossed their path!
I went back to the emergency and got the Volge on my back and lured them right into the hellbug chaos. I ran in and out of the aisles between the buildings, avoiding contact with any enemies. The Volge Troopers were almost here. I watched as every hellbug around charged towards the Volge Troopers. From here, I watched as some hellbugs got licks in on the volge before the volge started taking them out. That was my cue. I tore into them with my FRC Saw as they had their attention on the hellbugs. I got plenty of damage in them before they turned to me...I would then go back into cover until the Volge turned their attention back to the hellbugs. It was an all out war.......and Krixuss was the last one standing. This Volge incursion has my interest in this game at an all time high. Fighting the VOlge solo is very difficult, but with some planned strategy, it was the most fun I've had ever on this game.
