Personnally the only thing that p!ss me off are :
- Perma-invisibility glitch
- Auto-aim on infectors
Correct that, and I'm completely fine.
And about that :
No offense dude, but we are talking about Defiance here, not CS or ArmA.

Lol ist kinda funny that you are still not getting the Point. A good pvper would never ever use that lame gun. My Grandma could rock the pvp ladder with that puss y toy. There are alot of us that refuse to use it completely. Im not whining nor do the others... we are just annoyed like hell about that infector sound and ppl that call themselfes pvpers - but are just noobs that cant use anything else that actualy Needs aiming. And im getting pissed and rolling my eyes when i see those dild'o'gun-only users that think they are sooo pro because of winning another match. but are in fact just pathetic...
Nerfing infectors??? HELL NO! CMON start using a Gun insted of a Girls Toy!!!!
definitely. I stop using immunizers around two weeks ago, after getting legendary with 1.25 mag - it feels completely unfair to use it. Unfortunately there is no 100% counter strategy against infectors yet ( stealth is a temporary work-around, but it doesn't work well ).
You are so full of shtako it is embarrassing for the rest of the community. The weapon IS the problem. And saying ppl complaining lack in skill or are dying all the time is a load of bull as well. I do quite well in PvP without an infector. The problem with infectors is that there is no truly effective counter, apart from picking up one yourself. There are no 'infector resistance' shields (yet, otherwise I'd have one). There are no perks designed to counter infectors apart from MAYBE escape artist. Even then, Cankers and spawned bugs will still take you out. Rolling, jumping, climbing doesn't break dmg like all other effects in game. Bug can still track you no matter where you go or what you do. The gun is auto- homing, similar to a bmg and some launchers neither of which spawn bugs or vision blocking growths. Anyone supporting infectors by saying 'learn to play' is a worthless P.O.S. Even the 'best' infector wielding players in PvP (ps3 na) have admitted they should be nerfed, they have just jumped on the bandwagon, and that the gun is generally OP. So DEFCON, I'm calling you out bro. pow shtako
The top PVPers haven’t decided to not use the infector out of a sense of Moral Superiority. They have quicker ways to kill with VOT Fraggers with Syphon and TachMag Pulsers with Syphon.
I still can’t figure out how they one shot with the Fragger all the time. I can’t do it with a shotgun except a sawed off like the Courier and even then there are plenty of top PVPers that take little to no damage from both Courier Sticky Grenades and are perma invisible.
So the top PVPers not only have better skills, but have also have found the correct combination of perks, weapons and mods to make their weapons OP by comparison. There are literally millions of combinations to go through before I could figure it out.
The game is not clear at all on tons of things. I am still learning stuff every day. As an example I just recently found out that adding a strain reducer to the immunizer make it full auto. How from reading the text on that would I know that?
The infector is the only entry level gun I can use to even have a chance. In any other game I could use, a grenade launcher, shotgun, grenades, or rocket launcher. In this game those weapons mostly all suck and I get 1 grenade which leaves me to use the infector.
When I face other people with them I can usually run away to recover or can kill them with my secondary weapon, and the same happens to me all the time. Especially when I face someone with a Syphon Shotgun or Syphon Pulser, I am dead before my infector barely touches them.
sorry, but this is completely wrong statement. I can't tell the reason for everyone who is good in PvP (but same applies to you). Personally I can _not_ kill with Fraggers and Tachmag pulsers as fast and as many as as with Infectors, and at the moment I don't use tachmag pulsers often ( trying to understand whether there is a way to use semi auto rifles properly in pvp ), but I definitely switch out of infectors to keep game interesting ( I will sadly switch back to them in case clan wars are introduced :( )
Personally, I don't use infectors out of principle, although I'm about to reconsider to piss off more people and intice Trion to act on the matter. Too many bugs per square feet stay alive for to long. It makes small maps not enjoyable at all.
