A Brief Introduction
Hey there, good lookin' - you interested in joining the sexiest guild around? You've come to the right place! We're Typhonic Beast, and we're totally rad. Wanna get freaky with us?
We are accepting deviants, alts, twinks, hookers, lalafells, refugees, lepers, lalafells, amputees, gnomes, mules, strippers, preachers, naked lalafells drunks, methadone junkies, horse thieves, Canadians, Canadian lalafells people who chew with their mouth open, people who chew on their own tongue, people who chew on their friends' tongues, lalafells who chew on their friends' tongues (think about that- some lalafell hangin' offa somebody's face, just masticating away....), and pretty much anyone else.
So cute and deadly!
No politicians, though. We have standards.
As you may have guessed, we're an awesome guild with a sense of humor (I don't care if you don't think it's funny, it's still humor. I'll bet the Canadians get it.) We try to be helpful, but our primary purpose is to have a fun place to level alts, PvP, or have a conversation with other freaks while we do....whatever. Help is available for help with quests and such.
Don't let our charming personality fool you, though. Just because we like to have fun doesn't mean we're not totally badass at gaming. We live and breathe MMOs and can slay dragons in our sleep. We'll run circles around you with both legs tied behind our back. And best of all? We'll look good doing it!
Our History
Hahaha, as if you really give a rats *** about our history. I could go on forever about how many years of experience our members have. I could list all the games that we've played, and maybe even list all of our completely "meaningful" achievements and successes. But I won't bore you with things you don't care about. Instead, here's a cool history lesson on Egyptian gods!
In ancient Egyptian art, the Set animal, or "typhonic beast", is the symbolic animal for the God "Set". Set is the god of the desert, storms, darkness, and chaos. In Egyptian mythology, Set is portrayed as the usurper who killed and mutilated his own brother, Osiris. Osiris' wife, Isis, reassembled Osiris' corpse and embalmed him. Osiris' son, Horus, sought revenge upon Set, and the myths describe their conflicts. Set is also considered to be the basis for "Typhon", a Greek mythological giant serpent and the "father of all monsters". Set is also the basis for "Satan" in Christianity, although in early Egyptian religion, Set was not considered to be evil.

What We Do
We are a PvX guild (oh I'm sorry..."Free Company") in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. We focus on both PvE and PvP. We'll delve into dungeons and we'll pulverize enemy players. We'll slay dragons and find glory in the Coliseum!
Dungeon Delving (PvE)
We plan on having a solid core group of raiders and being a very competitive end-game Free Company. We're not going to be elitist jerks, and I doubt we'll see any World Firsts, but our name will certainly be known.

Pulverizing Players (PvP)
Even though rated PvP is limited to only a handful of players at a time, it will still be a core focus of Typhonic Beast. We'll organize PvP teams and events, including Dueling Tournaments with cash* prizes.

Our Rules and Requirements
Okay now on to the fine print. Hey, don't look at me like that. I don't like setting rules either; this hurts me more than it hurts you! But it has to be done. We're a fun, free spirited guild, but we do have some very ambitious goals and to reach them we need to establish at least a small bit of order.
Rules- No Drama!
---If you get upset, talk to an officer or guild leader about your problem. Don't be upset towards your fellow guild mates...regardless of how good you may be. Save the drama for yo' mama!
- Respect the Council
---I know we all joke around as equals, but if things get a little *too* out of hand and an Officer has to step in to clear something up, then you better listen to said Officer. Jokes are fun, pick on the Officers all you want, as long as you listen to them. Also, all decisions made by the Council are final, you will abide by them or leave, it's simple.

---We use a Mumble server for group activities such as PvP and Raids, and you have to at least be able to hear us.
Summary
Well that about covers everything. We're a mature guild, have a sense of humor, love PvE and PvP, have some rules but not many, oh and we're great in the sack.
