I just read James Herbert's 'Ash' it was really good... Shame we won't be having anymore from him! R.I.P.
I'm very very scared of Zombies!!!
I haven't read a book since grammar school.
I'm 28.
(don't judge me, I'm still are pretty smarts.)
Ender's Game, Sword of Truth Series, Dresden Files, Codex Alera - all of those are good reads. If you haven't read them yet, go check 'em out.
The last really good book I read was called The Dead Father's Club.
It's a modern day England take on William Shakespear's Hamlet, except it's through the eyes of an adolescent boy. The book likes to make frequent digression to give a satirical take on mature situations from a child's point of view (like an entire chapter just describing the condom machine in the bar restroom.)
I haven't read the book in quite a while, but I still remember it being one of the better one's I'd read.
I like the disc world series by Terry Pratchet
Like Colten said Disc world is pretty good.
I like a lot of Shakespeare and Poe.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a nice long read.
Books? What are these things called books?
When it come to the undead I'll go with Vampire over zombies any day......
you could try 'Battle Royal' it spawned a fair few copy-cats.... make sure its the properly translated book and not some fan dub......
If you want a good laugh I would recommend the Armageddon Trilogy by Robert Rankin. "Armageddon the Musical", They came and ate us(Armageddon II: the B movie)" and "The suburban book of the dead(Armageddon III: the Remake)".
