    Referee beheaded in Brazil
You guys hear about this crazy story? A referee got into a fight with a soccer player and stabbed the player, and then the fans charged the ref, stoned him to death, severed his head, and stuck it on a stick in the middle of the field.

Oh **** it says he was quartered! Doesn't that mean they pulled his limbs off? Like what they used to do with the 4 horses and tying to the limbs...

That's "drawn and quartered" but I think that' what they mean here. Can you believe this is where the Summer 2016 Olympics will be? I would not want to have any kind of sporting event hosted in a country THIS crazy about sports.

the drawn part of drawn and quartered is cutting open the abdomen and letting the intestines spill out before they quarter you via the horses....and theres a hanging before either happened......

For the olympics it is simple. Don't stab any athletes. I don't see your worry mal?

What if they get upset if we beat them though? I mean, you crazy English people have your "firms" where fans beat each other bloody after every soccer game. What if we beat Brazil and they just decide to start decapitating all the tourists?

They wont do that. The only reason it happened was because the ref stabbed a player.

Plus they put his head on a stake in the middle of the pitch. I watched the liveleaks video of the paramedics putting his body back together, it was awesome. The kid deserved it though, he shouldn't have stabbed the player. A referee is meant to promote order, not chaos.

basically it was a backyard match where everyone could be referee, player or supporter. some guys had knives and didn't like each other so it ended up with somebody decapacitated. Things like that happen in bars, on streets, anywhere all around the world - people get stabbed or their teeth kicked in for looking at someone the wrong way. In this case there was a crowd and they were hyped.

No, mate, things like decapitating and quartering and sticking someone's head on a spike in the middle of a field....those things do NOT happen regularly. Especially not in countries that are supposed to be civilized enough to host the Olympics. Just looke at the words you used "some guys had knives and didn't like each other so it ended up with somebody decapacitated."
