Killing him off would be the best thing the show could do--he's one of the least interesting characters. Which is why it's not gonna happen.

somethings gotta happen to get Nolan back, it would be pretty dumb to kill off the main character and still expect the 2nd season to be good.

Why would you not watch an episode to the end and then moan about something that happens without knowing if it stuck or not? He comes back right at the end.
Almost certain Clapton did it first. Also, that was an interesting finale. Why you guys posted this without [SPOILER] tags is beyond me. The ending was oddly reminiscent of something else.
