With a crystal bite, forge eye, or Hulker ...... things with nice beefy crit spots, its easy. On crystals I can pull off 12-15 shots (usually the whole clip) before it goes away. Anything else I am pretty good with the hipfire. With no scope on, I find the hip fire and aimed fire to be sort of similar, so I go from the hip and hope for the crit, LOL

This is what i mainly use at arkfalls
    VBI HP-6 Wolfhound
    Synergy: Stalker Nano: Fire
XP bonus is 10%dmg from behind
+4 mag and 15% grenade recharge on kill

Modded with scope, rapid mag, and stock stalker mods(still looking for crit barrel. if anybody has let me know ) so i get the EGO recharge on crit kill. Not the best by far but am able to use it as baby sniper and double tap headshots pretty easily and is pretty effective.

so rapid trigger fire from the hip is pretty accurate from what I understand , but on smaller targets it get difficult....
Ok so a accurate or recoil bonus would help a wolfhound for players with cracker fingers

Sweet wolf! I am a fan of the Fire Nano. The 10% from behind must be nice on bug-butts!

    Yes and yes.
The main thing for me was getting used to the small reticule and getting the trigger timing/fanning down.
