Toxic has always worked for me. I just ran a week of nano-effect tests, and have concrete evidence on the effects of toxic (20% base damage increase while proc'd, anywhere from 18-20% increased crit damage, lasts anywhere from 1-3 seconds).

i think he was confused on the yellow sludge and radiation
many people call the radiation sign - corrosive/toxic
the yellow sludge - toxic/corrosive

Quite possibly. I didn't test radiation enough to really see the difference. But I tested the crap out of toxic (the yellow bird poo symbol-- so pun intended).

But as of two weeks ago it definitely did nothing at all and is basically like having a colorful non elemental gun. Now non elemental guns do tend to have bonus's to damage or fire rate of something, but not all of them do. It's super inconsistent really.
