are any of the dlc's going to make the world bigger ?

as in will we see the town of defiance or new york or any of the places mentioned in the show ?

sorry if noob question, i did a search and didnt find anything.

I have my doubts about new york or Vegas or wherever. However if you look on the game map there is a LOT of area developed but inaccessible at this time. new content is likely "over there"

i agree --- you can scroll over the darkened areas, which led me to wonder whether or not they would eventually be opened up.

but it also seems redundant to me to have the game somewhat coincide with the show, and not have the town of defiance in the game at some point.

Problems is the distance between paradise and defiance. I suppose they could make you zone through a load screen back and forth through areas, but it seems the bay area is where the game will be centered. Then again I never saw aht uhrgan coming for ffxi and that work out.... Terribly... I missed jeuno... And I have gone off topic... Good times...

Yes they will. I am currently speaking with Trion in regards to a story on our site www.myxboxlive.com and am writing it up now. I should have it up later tonight or tomorrow morning early. I will post here when done.

If the expand a little past Oakland/Berkeley (which I believe is on the map), I can roll through my own neighborhood! :D

Personally, since the show keeps mentioning a mag-lev train, I'm hoping that the game will get some form of mag-lev, even if it doesn't take you to the town of defiance, it'd be nice to see it expand to other areas, or instances.
