Great place to level explosive weapons. You rarely have to look for weapons to level as the enemies are dropping weapons on the ground for you to use to level the weapon type.

If it isn't obvious from the video, you do not activate the 3rd turret. Thats what keeps the enemies re-spawning.

FYI on rockets. I used the Armada to level my rockets from 7 to 20. The 3 shots took out all the targets. The more powerful rockets have a delay that permitted the enemy to escape the blast radius.

Ya, the Armada was my favorite for the skitterling spot. Maxes out rockets really quick. Once enemies are dead you can hit "R" to reload so you don't waste your last rocket if you still have it.

What makes this better than the Skitterling area is that these guys drop a lot of weapons. You don't have to search for weapons to level up. Just check your inventory.

True, and a lot more salvage. I have done that area just for the salvage.

Cool stuff man nice video. What also makes it better than the skitterling area, is that your killing dark matter. Way more weapon xp, regular xp and all around drops from dark matter than skitters. I went to that skitterling area for the first time yesterday to try and work up a little bit of weapon xp for my BMG, and was quite disgusted with the amount I got for killing about 400 of them. Barely got 100k weapon xp out of that. I don't really like farming for kills, as they come naturally through progression of the game anyway. But this spot you've highlighted will absolutely help me get some weapon xp for classes I was dreading to use.

    Thanks!!

One thing to remember is there is a spawn point nearby. I would find that spawn point so that you are bound to Sutro Tower. If you don't and die you will spawn all the way back at Overpass.

It will be interesting to see though if this will still be as attractive to use after the arkfall changes come into play. I imagine that it will still be viable for many(also with the dark matter kill count pursuit as well.)

I think the skitterlings would be much faster if you already have the weapons (this might be faster for clustershot cause of the health difference allowing for so many shots going off), but I will admit this is significantly more rewarding.

This is faster than the Skitterlings. Check it out and you will see. It pays you very well making it all around better. This place always keeps me sitting around 1 million in Ark Salvage. I don't use mine for keys very often though. Mainly to open mod slots.
