    BMG's... Questions/Bugs/Issues/ Broken?
    Ok so, first off, tl dr warning. This will cover a variety of concerns i have for BMG's and if they are even working properly. Thats why this isnt in Bugs/Issues, as I'm not sure they are even bugged.

    ~Charge %. All have 0% Charge?
    ~Synergies. Working or not? Why certain ones have no effect?
    ~Sight modslot. Youre killin me here, Infectors and Dets included also.

    -So the Charge on BMG's for both Damage and Heal are always 0%. I had made a post once before but was unable to get an answer desirable enough to settle the issue... I think my only conclusion here now, is in time we will recieve mods that increase the Charge %. Meaning: Unmodded gun will do say 100 Damage per %, but a 5% Damage Charge modded weapon will do 105 damage per %.

    -I nabbed a Spanner Protector with Rolling Thunder on it. I recently bought 2 RT mods for it, added them, but get no sort of 5%/10% Mag bonus. Understandable, to an extent... Are BMG's designed so that Mag is 0, or does a % count as "Mag", and RT for BMG's is just not working properly?... If its a matter of "Well, Mag isnt % so, you got shafted." I guess thats ok in a sense. If that is the case, why cant Mag = %? And when RT mods are added why cant the BMG gjust go to 110%?

    -Sights for BMG's, Infectors, and Dets arent in game, we know this... My issue is if they arent available in the game, then why the hell do we get guns with them slotted? Again, i think this falls under the "Bad roll my man, deal with it."... Why werent they just disabled so you cant get the Modslot unless you Open itvia the Matrix, or Roll all 4 slots open when you recieve it?... I hate that i got 3 modslots on my Leg. BMG, and got Sight instead of Mag. It seems cheap... and honestly it sucks getting any of the 3 guns with Sight-Only.


    Ive seen some other posts, done a bit of howmework, even made a post about Charge % before. No real answers available, only players speculating. Best case scenario here, a Dev answers, and we can have Definitive knowledge about this tech. Lets make it happen! Lol.

    They need to disable the 4th slot on these items since you can't get the mod in question. I haven't noticed whether any of the items have synergies that need 4 slots, it wouldn't suprise me if there are some. Logically they would restrict the synergies available to these to just the ones with less than 4 bonuses, but that in turn makes them weaker than the other items which can have all 4 mods.

    Maybe they have future plans for sights on these weapons? You dont have to aim them so kind of pointless, but maybe for a cismetic effect and to get the 4th synergy bonus purposes. Far as RT on a bmg did the charge maybe last longer with these mods? That may be the compensation for the bonus not showing as an actual mag bonus. If it doesnt then yes these pointless synergies on certain weapons need to be removed from the game.

    @Colif - are you saying you havent noticed BMG's, Infectors or Dets with 4-item Synergies? If that is what you mean, yes they exist. Ive seen posts with BMG's (druing searching) with Quartermaster, Cannoneer, and I got 1 with Rolling Thunder. All 3 Synergies require 4 items for max-mod bonus. (also just look in the Need/Want. see all different types of these guns with Synergies)

    @Turantula - Yes Trion could have future plans for sights on these, but thats a given. You can say Trion has future plans on everything lol... And yes a "Sight" would be relatively pointless for any of those weapons, but its the fact it is still REQUIRED for max bonus. Thats where the "cheap" part comes in....

    No, there was no longer Duration on the BMG when 2 RT mods were added (+10% Mag). The BMG laser lasted 8 seconds, both without and with the mods. There is no effect what so ever... Like i said, may be a matter of Mag isnt = to %, so the RT Synergy doesnt work for BMG's, "Too bad son, try again."

    Its pretty dumb letting these weapon types get synergies they cannot complete. Just as its stupid having a sight slot that can be opened when you really wanted something else, its a waste of ark salvage, and could be an expensive one too depending on ego lvl of weapon.

    They don't need sights, shame they couldn't have made it another type of slot for the specific weapons. Guess thats too complicated, requires them to make more mods, but then the 4th slot would be of use, and you could complete synergies.

    I dont mind if they intend the Sights to be useless on these guns. I just feel they should be "Locked" so that you cant receive Sight slot open. If that were the case, then the only drawback would just be the 4th Synergy mod bonus would be unavailable. Fair enough...

    This has also made me think... There has to be some kind of different Mods for Charge Blades... You cant have a Mag or Barrel for a sword lol... Well, you could have the Mag Converter (I E the color change people talk about). But a barrel, well, perhaps the "Barrel" changes the Length of the blade... Stock would clearly be your handle... But again, Sight slot??

    When i open Lockboxes, and i pull an Orange Charge Blade... I think im going to be quite pissed off when a Sight Slot appears, and the Mag isnt available. (Just a 'what if' scenario).

    You wont get answers from Trion, they dont answer anything, the devs on this board are, and ban me whatever, utterly useless.
    Perhaps they are told by thier boss to not answer things, but if thats the case, why do they make a patch discussion thread and never answer any of the hundreds of questions. Why do they not give updates often on bug reports. Whsts the point of them being here other than to frustrste and post the odd patch notes?

    As for BMGs they are broken anyway, the whole sight issue is a joke but the mods dont seem to add any significant change at all anyway bar the most miniscule of dmg per tick or range. The dmg charge magazine? What is it supposed to do exactly? ! I do no more dmg with it and it doesnt slow down the ammo usage.. Now dont get me wrong, I love the weapon and play healer a lot (Lvl 17 in bmgs now tho and amount healed is still kinda lame) , and they are good in certain situations like the infected emergencies, but overal they need a sever boost in wep xp per damage.

    When you can level a lmg saw in 5 mins on a hulker, and it takes 35minutes to level one level of a bmg.. somethings wrong.

    Why is there no explanation in game for half the things like this, like the bmg. Everything is too vague

    What.... I always make sure my enemy is directly in my sword sights before I stab their face. :)
