The game is Buy To Play meaning that I go out and BUY a copy of the disc and I go home and PLAY it. Nothing has been said about one time use unique code that comes in the box. How do you know that the code doesn't come in game as it did on the beta?

The tweet that was posted from earlier only said you need a unique login. Nothing at all about a one time use code.

Edit: just so you know I'm not trying to argue, I just don't believe things until its officially confirmed. I phoned blockbusters and they said I can rent the game and there will be no issues with it.

It's how the work, I can't phrase it any other way. They won't tell you outright because its obvious to 99.9% of the population. MMO's cost money to upkeep and loosing out on £40 via rentals / pre-owned would kill it flat.

It's a good point that somebody made about the tv show. By waiting for the UE we risk missing the story content that takes place before the tv show begins. If that's the case I'll probably take the SE...

You already have the answer. Sledgehammer confirmed it as well as every other non-f2p mmo ever released confirmed it.

Im on the fence.. IF we needed some sort of code.. What would it link? Surely they can just link our emails from the trion website which are in turned linked to our xbox if you use the same email? Its what we had to do for the beta?

Either way, ive decided.. Im gonna wait for my UE to turn up.. I dont care about 10 days, after playing the beta im defo in for the long haul. Just hope it means i dont miss out any unique events that happen to do with the show as one time events :/

i assumed there wouldn't be a disk and the game would be d/load only. as it says on the product info that users would need 10gb space on their console

As I stated before I booked time off work to play it so thats one thing. Another is that if I didn't come on the forum I wouldnt have find out about the delay! Amazon only emailed me after I contacted customer service. My friend who ordered UE too still didnt get any email from Amazon. So communication adds to my frustration. i understand Amazon is not at fault here but picture a small shop that sells goods that ppl want on that particular day right? and then supplier wont get the goods to the store so what happens with customer base? if you wont give them compensation even though it is not your fault they will leave and go somewhere else but if you give them something they can thrive on more than 50% will stay. Thats my point...!

It's an activation code that tells TRION you have bought the game and allows you to create an account, without it there is no way to play.

For example the PC version you can just grab of the web as a client BUT without having "bought" the game you can't actually get in and play.

DCUO did it, WOW did it, EVE did it, LOTRO did it, Guild Wars did it.....

Is it not possible to buy the code via MS points like most of the games nowadays with online features?
