Don't complain about invisibility bug, UNDERSTAND it and send a whisper

So since i apparently was a "hacker" in WF the other night cause i had the invisibility bug, i would like to say to ALL players who are quick to judge and don't actually know how the games little ins and outs work..

Send a WHISPER! Most players don't know they have the bug BUT some work it out since you stand in between 4 ppl and no one shoots you.

Sending a whisper will make people kill themselves and then the bug is gone. I had to jump in the water in WF and swim out to die but I like many players will rectify the issue, just need someone to mention it.

Does anyone know if when the invisibility bug happens, some players can see you and others can't? Someone said the other day an opponent player was bugged in FY but I could see them.

someone sent me a msg about this bug. toss a grenade at my feet.
I dead. respawn with bug condition removed.
it all comes down to player moral.

Uhhh, yea. And how many times have I sent a whisper to the offending party just to be told "lolz, u Just mad Bro." It's not like they leave or anything. The system needs a vote kick implemented for when these players are encountered. Plain & Simple. Were you cheating outright, no, but it doesn't change the fact that you are continuing to remain in the game and offering an unfair advantage for your team. Vote Kicks solve this.

yes if you kill 20 players while you watie for the whisper to fix a bug you have to know almost at ounce you have with your cloak come on? thier should be no whisper needed drop a grenade and kill yourself.

Easiest thing to do is take a screenshot and post it on the forums. Not only does this force said exploiter to come clean but it makes sure that everyone else knows that this person had the glitch happen to them which means they are an exploiter / glitcher for sure.

Exploiter / Glitcher implies that the person in question either did so on purpose or even if it was accidental, didn't take steps to remove the exploit / glitch.

What Xoralis experienced was an accident. And when he was alerted to the fact he was invisible, he promptly took action to remove it. I wouldn't call that action being an exploiter or a glitcher.

I don't think its that deep. I mean come on, the game doesn't keep leaderboards, doesn't record stats, doesn't really do anything with pvp. I just switch to blur and run when people get bugged haha

Xoralis, the issue you told me about in your Teamspeak post has been rectified on our end. Especially involving the person you pointed out.

As of TODAY (2:00 pm 16 July 2013) Tempest has been banned from the site as a whole by IP Address. That's not to say he will not try some of the many tricks to make a new account with a new IP, but as it is right now he can no longer see our page.

If they are 100% invisible even while shooting, you can still do damage, you just don't see it, normally just spray a bit, then toss a big hit Grenade and it should kill them if they have low enough HP.

The game is recording and keeping track of all that. Check your EGO profile on the main page website. Some of it is coming soon, but the data is being recorded.

I was under the impression they were immune to damage while experiencing that issue. Good to know I can possibly kill them with some well placed shots. Any idea if killing them ends the invisibility bug, or do they just respawn with it still active?

I think it fixes it, because the body actually shows up after you kill them, plus normally I don't tend to have any issues with that player after that, and they don't have ridiculous high scores, as someone permanently 100% should be getting.

Sometime way back, I remember someone shooting at me (poorly) with invis glitch with some kind of toxic nano AR I think.
I just shot the source of the green acid beams shooting me with my syphon tachmag.

Once they realised that despite being invisible, I could out DPS him/her if they kept firing at me, they went to find easier prey.

Every FY last night there was at least 1 player on the other team with this "glitch". Seems to me that some players know how to induce it. Kinda sad when I am the only player on my team with a positive K/D and more than one capture...

Great, so you want to implement a vote-kick function before all bugs and glitches are fixed? Do you know what that means? That potentially half of all the players can get kicked from PVP matches, because that's how many exploit bugs or glitches or are skilled enought to be considered cheating. Not to mention how many people would use the vote-kick function to kick Infector noobs from a match...
The problem lies with Trion, because they don't ban for glitch exploiting, they hardly even ban people for actual cheats... and if they do ban them it always takes over 2 weeks or a month long before they actually ban him.

I dunno if you're cheater or not, but you're a really bad photoshopper, that's for sure. I can actually see the cut-offs where you cut out the parts and pastes them over eachother, you can see the color changes where you've cut it, if you look close enough. Maybe try better next time, but i'll doubt people will believe you that it's legit then.

The UI has transparency, and if you look in the background it's laid over an environment piece with a hole in it, hence the color discrepancy. It's legitimate, I was in the same match.

Yeah it bugged out, like the time your melee glitch "bugged out"... except you admitted to using it on purpose in IMs and someone screenshotted it.

Sorry man, don't trust anything you do. Once a glitch abuser always a glitch abuser in my books.

Lol oke, i'd like to have some of the space-cake he's eating then... because even i, Shakk nor you can get passed 60 kills and 8.000 score in a round of Freight Yard. The second score in my signature was the best FY score i ever got, JotheShow's best score was 49/4 on FY, Shakk's was 56/4 and all of us get called a hacker very often, so what do you call him then?

We call him a good player in a match full of new recruits, also, you can kill more people faster with a mouse. We don't usually see those scores from him or anyone else either. It's the reason he has it in his sig.

It was the first day of the Steam Summer Sale, with a ton of newbies in the match. It was easy to farm kills in that match.

Essentially what he said.

I average between 40 and 60 kills per match depending on how long it goes and also depending on the opposition.

That match did have a lot of users with respark shields fresh from PvE so it was easy pickings and Notturno was the only challenger I faced that round.

It's nice to see the pvp matches poping up more frequently again as there for a while it was taking 20-40 minutes to get a single FY to pop.

As far as the shield issue - I had it happen 1 time before I knew it was even an issue and someone happened to record it and now I get labeled as an exploiter... Same with the melee glitch - Use it one round after I read the patch notes for the following day (melee blur build) and I come clean when X64 messages me about it and once again someone posts it - Call it bad luck or everyone is out to get me. Either way, outside of the one time I did the melee syphon glitch a single round I have not done anything on purpose as I myself don't like exploiters.

The latest thing people are using is the fast ladder climb glitch on FY. Nothing like getting to the top of A when someone is chasing you...
