The title basically says it. It is under flash sales.

I heard about this, and I must admit... I'm jealous. Apparently, I spent $30 more than I should've on this game.

If you really want to raise an eyebrow, Trion's website has added a newer promo with more rewards to standard and deluxe versions of the game BUT they're not putting it on the steam version. Trion website Standard and deluxe can now get an naval outfit and an growler lol.

No, there are seemingly 4 different sales setups for the steam summer sale(meant seemingly to be on purpose to confuse).

    1. The general summer discount.
    2. Daily deal: goes actually for 2 days(they list it at the bottom of the page at the same rate as a "previous day's deal". It can be the same or slightly or significantly better than the general summer discount.
    3. Flash sales(usually a larger discount over the general/daily for 8 hours)
    4. Vote for sale(can be slightly or significantly more than 1 2 or 3.)

Many titles can go through all 4 and seems to be able to do so for some more than one(I could swear I've seen a few games go up twice on the flash sale but I could be wrong.)

That make sense, I'm fine with that.
Though I wish current owners would get the CODA and Truck for free.

Thing is the nomad is the truck(the pic on the page) but the name of they're showing is for the growler which is an atv. They've made a mess of it.

So they are giving away deluxe editions with challenge hours and now they are practically giving away standard editions on steam. Ya, trion is not going to get much more of their money back on this product.

You can always invite yourself for the recruit a friend and rebuy on steam and get yourself a title, vehicle.

It's nerdy but I totally did it.

It's steam sales. Just about everything's on sale at some point.

Most game sales taper-off after one/two months.

Their current objective is to increase the install base rather than try and make a lot of profit off the base game.

The reason is to increase the potential sales of the season pass.

After 1-2 weeks I am sure those new players will start dropping like flys. I doubt many will want to get the season pass or even buy anything in their store once people find out the game is lacking in pretty much everything.

Then let's hope that in 1-2 weeks there is the DLC! =P. I don't know, playing for a good amount of hours after one week I am still involved and felt like there is a good amount to do =P =).
All times are GMT -7. The time now is 06:05 AM.
