Even though there was just a topic on Necro posting I was wondering are you still doing this? If so would be nice to see an Irisa sig :p

That's one of my main bug bears with this game.

I don't really see what the attraction of having outfits are in this game since you can't holster your weapon and stand up straight or rotate around to view your character from the front.

Your stuck in this permanent 'at the ready' crouch and you mainly only ever get to see the back top half of your character... so why are people buying outfits for?

If anyone has any images they want me to play with, or have specific requests about how they want an avatar or sig to look, I am happy to play. I'm using the hard lines and defiance logo because it is a simple template, not because it's the only style I can create.

Also, everyone is free to post avatars and signatures here that they've made for fun, and don't mind others using. Or make your own thread, as competition!

@MortalWare, other people see your avatar from the front, profile and behind. You can see yourself in profile and frontal by sitting on a quad, or logging in, or watching an ingame cutscene involving your character. Often, clothes help us feel a certain way. The cut of a suit can help a person feel in control, secure, powerful. An old baggy shirt we've had since our dad took us to that old rock band's last gig together reminds us how we felt; safe, and happy. Costume not only represents ourself to others, it can also represent ourself to ourselves.

To take a more cynical tone, we wear the mask until it fits.

The only outfit I 'bought' was the Ark Infiltrator armour with my pre-order. I usually wear it without the helmet. I like the shape and size of the body armour, but I like to remember that my character is Irathient, so I can see his face.

Have you tried uploading them to deviantart? They are really good :)

None of the art is mine. It belongs to the artists, actors, directors, editors, camerafolk and screenwriters, all I did was take a screenshot, or find some concept art, and crop it. As such you're welcome to help yourself to the images here and sprinkle them like glitter across the interwebs.
