What some people are getting at here is that nobody will say anything about what was said on the show. Not everybody can tune in at the times it is broadcast. They are just wanting a bit of what was said, not just...Quote:

Re-reading back through the posts, I don't see any bashing or negativity coming from anyone asking for some info. All the crap I am seeing is coming from the people at KTAM. Good way to get people to come to your shows. I know I definitely want to come now after being told if I don't listen I can go eat a bag of peni or get a Cleveland steamer. All people were asking was for some info from anyone who may have listened to it, and KTAM bashing them for not listening. As far as it being said it would be posted as a youtube on Wednesday, I went back and looked.... and of course all dates on the other post have been changed to say later in the week. Now we have Thursday as a possible date, but I'm assuming that will change and be edited as soon as someone asks about that.
I'm a fan of the game, and not really concerned about the DLC date (but thanks for assuming). All I heard was good info was given, so I did what Ichi did and ask about it. I get a lecture of the workings of a radio station followed by a statement to listen or just enjoy someone crapping on my chest and rubbing it back and forth (Cleveland steamer for those that didn't know). But wait, the people asking the questions about what was on the show are the ones not giving respect?
Pretty lousy way to get people to listen to your show if you ask me.
PS: I'm pretty sure Luffy was directing that give respect quote TO you guys, not FOR you guys

Everyone take a chill pill here. KTAM is a fan-run radio station with a small staff. It is not KTAM's responsibility to bring you information to your 'preferred' venue that is apart from their station. They worked hard to build a great station and are lucky enough to get to interview some of the people behind the scenes. Beck and others have been working their tails off to bring a great station to this fanbase FOR NO PAY. If the Defiance devs are giving out information there that they aren't elsewhere, that's on the Defiance devs. they're the ones getting paid to bring you information.
The commercials are jokes A little off-color, sure, but just jokes. They're not intended to offend I'm sure, but some people are oversensitive.
Even if it is fan-run with no pay, does that give them a right to bas potential listeners and supporters just because they missed the show and asked questions?Quote:

No one is editing dates. Please stop being so aggressive, and maybe you will receive some help. I wrote a very well thought out post explaining the process behind these interviews, and how we got the content to you. That simply was not enough, but please do not post falsehoods. We have announced one replay, and have said there will be another this week, and that the YouTube link will be up at the end of the week. This is exactly what we have done for every interview. D-icks is an apple commercial. They are just gags, and like others have said not meant to offend. Not everyone gets it that's fine, and we completely understand that. We simply can not please everyone all of the time. We focus on the people who actually listen to the station, and can provide feedback.
Please be patient and you will get all of the info you want. We will not hide it from you. We make it plainly aware of when, where, and how our content will be played.

Again not a way to incentivize people to be interested Ktam and also invites the potential for Trion to distance themselves from endorsement of the project if it alienates people. I believe that Trion has been amiable with Ktam because it was seen as being a mutually beneficial project for the Defiance community but if this sort of rhetoric continues, Im not sure that they'll continue to do so.
I wasn't aggressive until I was given an aggressive answer. First, I swear I saw Wednesday posted in another thread. I don't post falsehoods. Anyone who reads my posts here will attest to that. Next, how are we not suppose to take eating a bag or getting a steamer as an attack seeing how those who don't or haven't listened to the show would not have any idea that is a parody commercial. Just seems like a full on attack to me. Think about it. People who don't listen won't know it isn't an attack therefor they will never listen. It's cool either way cuz I think it did more damage attracting new listeners than getting a laugh from those who knew it was a joke.
Also, I don't care what it takes to get an interview set up. I already know all that crap. It wasn't what was asked
No, you don't get it. There is a difference between won't and can't. Your times aren't the best times to air things. I have been to your station a few times only to hear some really horrible music. That's enough to make me only want to listen to your interviews, but once again it comes down to can't and won't. On top of that it wasn't explicitly asked of you to provide the info, I believe Ichi asked anyone to give a run down. Seeing as how you had one response on the topic that wasn't you guys, I'm assuming you don't have a huge listener base. Insulting people is not a way to get it (yes, it was a commercial or whatever, but the only people who got that listen to your show and that "joke" was directed at people who don't or can't listen--- so call it whatever you want, it was still an insult)
