Re-directed to closed thread - UE Delays

I think that the answers we all need regarding the SE/UE will start to be answered as the community starts getting their UE and sharing what's in box and codes they have. I don't think any faith should be put in to an official word. 70 pages of more or less the same question has gone unanswered. Granted we make up very possibly a small minority of affected customers, and everyone realises that its not Trion/amazon at fault, and to be fair everyone is quite level headed about it, it's just the lack of communication regarding the confusion which is pissing everyone off.

i am more upset that i carnt set up my ingame name and by the time i get on it will prob be gone,there is no way i am buying se as i have 2 ue on order one for me and the other for my brother as a birthday present which is this sunday ,also a bit upset as i booked all next week off for the game :( and i carnt reset hols once ther booked at work.preorded this the day the became avalible ,if only my brother would play the pc i would have been fine.i did send an email to trion about a grace period for preorder players affected by this thing,thay did not answer my question,well here is response a bit cut and paste :(

Forking out £102 on SE & UE just to play it on release date and i haven't even played the beta, Would be funny if i got them and didn't like it one bit.

All i have to say is if i can't play my preordered UE which was paid for 3 months ago on the 2nd of april 2013 release date ... i WILL be sueing for undue stress!!!

I have decided to cancel my UE and just go out and buy the Limited edition from GAME on Tuesday.

I'm cancelling my UE and SE from amazon, the SE hasn't been posted yet and now says 5-6th as delivery estimate. They are an absolute disgrace.

Going to buy the game on the day from Tesco or something.

I'm sorry to hear that fella. I was dubious about Amazon, so bought the SE from Game. It was posted out yesterday. It still has to get to me at some point during the bank holiday weekend, so I may end up calling at Tesco on Tuesday morning.

I'm pretty much with you there - I've been a quiet lurker for ages. But the response from Trion has annoyed me so much I need to vent a little before I assplode. The locked official thread, the lack of further response and the actual completely lackadaisical response that Trion threw out through Sledge has really got me teeth grinding.

Don't get me wrong - I really enjoyed the game, and I'll still be playing it. I'm a sucker like that. But I may cancel my UE (along with my 8 friends who ALL have the same problem [so I'm feeling the comment 'a small amount of customers is arse']).
Maybe the day before it ships. Just to make my little ego feel like it's got one back :P
