and said "they never said it would be out at so and so, so they didnt lie"

well guess what now they have lied

e3 they announced it for the end of july

now they say it will not be out in july


so how can you defend this?

Why are you nitpicking? We still don't have a solid date. Until I get that I'll defend them and continue to tell you lot to QYB.

in my opinion end of july was a solid date

it means at the end of july usually within the last week of the month or so

but now we have another date "it will be out sometime in august" so whats gonna happen in august gonna tell us maybe in october?

Yes you now have something to shove in our face and say there was a delay, they're admitting they're going to miss July and they don't have a solid date. It's not like this is anything new in the gaming world.

Whoop-d-doo!! What are you gonna do about it?! Cry? Sad. You'll get it when they release it like everybody else and then you'll find something else to cry about while yet still playing and inadvertently supporting the game that you "dislike" so much by doing so.

Devs/Mods, I know you'll probably can this thread for my comments and rightfully so. I apologize in advance, but these little sad-sacks are somehow becoming more annoying by the hour. I know you agree and probably can't say so pubicly without risking your own sense of professionalism so I'll say it for you: Stop whining, grow a pair, wait, or get lost!

I'm so glad that I have multiple things to do with my spare time that a delay in a game update doesn't equate to the Mayans being a few months off.

Hilarious, we knew from the beginning it wouldnt be out in July. When Nate said it the first time, I cant even count how many posts went up including some of my own that said late July means mid August lol. Games and delays go hand in hand, some of you seriously need lives, "I want what I paid fooorr blah blah cry cry wah wah!" You're still going to get it, in the meantime go outside, plant a tree, play some kick ball or somethin lol.

The game itself suffers from the obvious rush-job it is. Don't need another rushed DLC on top of that tbh.

While I dislike the wording, I agree with the sentiment.

Rather a working DLC than the thousands of repetitive posts about bugs

A delay is not the same thing as a cake. Err, I mean, as a lie.

Haha, this pretty much sums up how some are acting with this.

But on a more serious note and this is to those who aren't aware of it, regardless of whether or not an exact date was mentioned that still doesn't take away the fact that Trion reserves every right in deciding if they want to delay the release of anything regarding Defiance or not. This is why you shouldn't be surprised when a release date concerning anything to do with Defiance is pushed back or delayed for any reason. Regardless of how much any side goes on about DLC being delayed it will not speed up the process in which it'll be added to the game. Losing the head over this is also a waste of time and effort as we have absolutely no control over the matter, Trion's at the helm and that's that.

We all agreed to the TOU's by registering our accounts to this site, why so shocked?

I'll close this post off with this; Just because August was mentioned (which is a month, not a date) that doesn't even guarantee that the DLC will definitely be released within that time frame as there's more to it than just 'adding it to the game', there's certification processes and everything else which is out of Trion's control.

That guy was fired for his incompetence and JUST replaced in the last week. So do research and blame the right person. Mr. Lies and Laughs is GONE! Lets us hope the new guy; Bald Jim Carry with Collin Farrell EyeBrows; actually doe work instead of just telling lies like his predeccesor.
