Price Drop.
Hey all! Like probably many of you, I preordered my copy of Defiance. I got the standard edition for $60 and have been playing the game since launch. While wondering the Internet, I stumbled onto the GameStop website and to my surprise, all the prices of all the editions of Defiance have dropped significantly and now the Ultimate Edition is now the price of what I payed for my standard edition. I'm really not mad it's just that if I knew this was going to happen, I would have waited to buy Defiance. I'd like to hear from you all about your personal opinions on this! Thank you.

This seems to be the way of the world. It happens with almost all things electronic and things electronic relateded. In the gaming world this happens automatically anymore. It has to do with sales and marketing. If you not one of these kids that just has to have the latest and greates game, and are willing to be paitent,, you can get almost any game for less than half of it's original price. Wait 6 months or less and in the case of Definace, you can have exactly what someone paid 150 bucks for, for about 10 bucks. Welcome to the New Age.

My boyfriend and I both have standard editions that were both about $50 - $60 each (they were used at Gamestop, so I don't remember exactly).
We've played at least once a day since we got them. Despite the issues, we have (and still are) thoroughly enjoyed the game, so we both feel that we've more than got our money's worth out of them, even though they were higher when we bought them than what they are currently going for.
