Oh, neither do I, effects don't make a show, and frankly, the less effects, the better off it is IMO, since it's generally the high effects budget that kills a sci-fi show. But the shot I remember really stood out as bad, like, pre-babylon 5 CG
I can forgive the CGI for the story. If it does well, I am sure the budget will increase. Just look at Eureka before they decided to end it.

the Duet was a June Carter and Johnny Cash song Jackson. The woman playing Irisa I'm sure has learned english growing up around a human.
Actually, after downloading the tool that helps you watch it over here, I was quite impressed with both quality of acting and cgi.

I'm from the Netherlands, and used an AWS vpn to watch the trailer :) Easy enough if you know what to do, but I think Media Hint would be the easiest solution.
Note: I really liked the trailer.
