it wasn't the ai that bugged me. it was... 'they're standing up right...", "they're running around obstacles instead of leaping over them...", "they're only going for the kill and never trying to capture me" (c'mon you know it'd be cool if they put in a survival mode where first you try to outlast getting captured, then try to break free before the face huggers catch you)

the only bit about the ai that bugged me was that they all auto-lock on 1 specific target and never change targets... so if they lock on to your immortal ai pudwack with a smartgun... you lob one grenade at his back and you wipe out an entire wave... at no risk to yourself.... if they fixed that one tiny bit it'd be infinitely better.

i'm of the mind that... it happened off-screen, they never show it, in any edition of the movie, nor is that particular bit in the comic books (hell in the comics it only shows ripley and newt while they're getting fished out of the wreckage, hicks is no where), thus... it's merely a retcon in that, you have no visual proof anywhere in the accepted canon that it was actually hicks they cremated... this is Wey-Yu, after all... a body swap and a collision course isn't that hard for them to pull off, nor is it beyond what's already been shown as "business as usual" for them.

I must have god-like gaming luck, because I swear I never have HALF the problems most people complain about! Granted, I believe you. Definitely not calling you a liar, haha. On occasion something like that happened, but I never ran into a situation where I had a free pass.

My game was more like Chris said - yes! You can tell things are scripted a certain way, but JESUS, they swarmed you pretty intitively. I didn't mind them standing up - makes sense enough for me.

I beat the game on Ultimate Badass. My teammates I played with got killed, so I had to beat the last bit alone. Made me feel like... well... the ultimate badass!

If you're an Alien fan, even to the least degree, get the game. I didn't find much to ***** about. A:CM is also the only game I've ever gotten a season pass for.

They showed him in Alien 3. He was real dead. Anyway, we're taking this thread wayyy off topic, hahaha.

actually they do show it in alien 3...cuz when sigourney asked about the survivors, the doc said they didnt make it...he took her back to the eev and said that newt drowned in her cryotube, and that the corporal ( hicks ) was impaled by a safety device and that death was instantaneous, had his head smashed in, like i said i got the movie going right now lol, so my question is, how in the world did the prisoners find hicks's body when it along with newts body were cremated?...i mean they show the whole thing in the movie, from the crashing of the eev to the cremation of both hicks and newt lol

just watched the first half... they show a body so smashed to bits it looks like a tractor did donuts on top of it.. and declared it to be hicks... then in the morgue they showed newt... at the cremation, the bodies were wrapped in bags....

so, still, no, they didn't show anythng the viewer could identify as being hicks :p

well the doc said " corporal was impaled ", kinda says it all lmao, and only the head was smashed, his arms were curled and plus he was bandaged just like at the end of aliens and there were only 4 people in the eev and at the end of aliens, hicks, newt, ripley and bishop, now we saw bishop smached and scattered, newt was in her cryotube, drowned, hicks was also in there cuz if you watch all the way in the beginning, when all the tubes were being loaded, then youll see all 4 being loaded into the eev, lol :p :p

I gotta remind myself I am in this thread :p After the patch the xenos are a lot smarter like they dodge bullets and speed run. Lots of changes has been made to the game.

ps: I reeeeeally dislike the recent dlc released to the game except for bug hunt.
