Yeah, the beta is pretty stale right now.

Firefall is an ok game but like many have already said I got bored of it, maybe when they get all the pve in it that is talked about then it maybe worth another look but to be honest I've found defiance to be more fun.

Most people that complain about lag are playing on something could be rivaled by a calculator or speak n spell. The other is when the SERVER is being worked, shutting down, or their ISP is having issues.

Game runs fantastic. The art is different, that is for sure. The original FPS crew that grew up with Quake, Hexxen, Doom, (ya know the games that gave birth the trash that is being played today) will love this game.

there are many broken, incomplete things in Firefall. Overall, it's still fun, enough to do for a few hours a day. Updates come about every 3 weeks.

It's actually a MMOFPS... PC only of course. I advise everyone to try it. I will go back and forth between the two games. I did during open beta with defiance.. found myself playing FF more because well, it's got Jetpacks.

It's got a learning curve too, it's not easy to grasp so there are only a few players..

well, there are two ways to develop with the community.... listen to the community and develop it in their direction or do it like R5 and listen to the community and develop the absolutly opposite.
PvE ist very tedious (even got worse with the latest patch....grinding, grinding, grinding) and PvP is a absolutly joke for ages.... everyone is running an assault or biotech (most assaults) and every premade team is joining matches with 4 assaults and 1 biotech.
Even if they get wiped by other setups, the majority still thinks 4 assaults 1 biotech is the best setup of all... and it gets realy boring to play against the same setups over and over and over again (just feels like the pve)

this screen is from october where you can see it very good what class most player pick and against which setups you allways play as random..... it was severall month before that screen like this and it´s still today like this.

In my opinion firefall isn´t worth my money, but defiance is :cool:

I got the 100% founders pack for firefall and played it constantly for about a week, after that It just bored the living hell out of me.

The crafting system is pretty bad, the game looks really pretty but thats about it.

The "dynamic" events become dull really quickly and none of the recent patches have been able to make it better, vehicle handling is also terrible in firefall. - Don't get me wrong though, during the time i played the game, it was a fantastic enjoyable experience.

I still hope it'll be a great game when it releases though, it has potential, developers just need to find a way to keep people in it for the long haul and keep it interesting.

Firefall and Defiance are two games apart for starters.

I have been in Firefall for more then over a year,i leave go back repeat.
The fact is its to repeative, as for the open breathing world , well its since last patch. Finally i feel the chosen
are hard and everywhere.Before you could easly walk over them.

I have a interest in both games , for they are the only 2 since Tabula Rasa that give me what i look for in a mmo.

If you prefer Firefall fine, if you prefer Defiance fine.

Just enjoy the hell out off both off them , the pros and cons they have.

Lets all just be happy we have fpsmmo isch games at last.
No need to bash each other over the genre otherwise we ll end up trowing away the kid with the bathwater.
Wich will leave us with what folks tabtarget bs fest mmos no ty.
